Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater continues to host Arena Civil Dialogues to engage the D.C.-area community. Scholar, professor and public intellectual Amitai Etzioni curates and moderates a series of discussions focusing on topics and questions in today's headlines. The next Arena Civil Dialogue will discuss what makes a great America and will be held in the Molly Smith Study at Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater from 5:30-7 p.m. on November 11, 2018.

Since 1923, EAG's Annual Memorial Service has brought together members of the performing arts community on an afternoon in November to celebrate the lives and work of our colleagues who have passed away in the previous year. This unique event features music, reflection, and a reading of the names of those being remembered, which is always followed by a heartfelt standing ovation.

Craft Recordings is excited to announce a special collaboration withTaking Back Sunday, in celebration of the band's 20th anniversary. As part of this year-long fête, the band will be embarking on an extensive worldwide tour, paying tribute to their catalog - and their fans - with full album performances. Robert Fox and Alex Turner, in association with Park Theatre, present the UK premiere of Martin Sherman's new play Gently Down The Stream, following a critically acclaimed run at the Public Theater in New York. The production opens at Park Theatre on 18 February 2019, with previews from 13 February, running until 16 March.

Ahead of a busy 2018 national tour schedule, The Mutineers have announced their new five-track 'Threshold' EP, slated for release on September 14. At this time, they present a brand new video for 'Drug For That', filmed and directed by California-based photographer and visual artist Clovis IV.  The track, previously released on 'Live At B-Side', will be offered as a bonus track on a special Bandcamp edition of the EP.
