The Donmar Warehouse announces today two new plays for the 2017 autumn period.  Internationally-acclaimed theatre artist, Yael Farber, makes her Donmar debut directing David Harrower's haunting Knives in Hens with full casting that includes Christian Cook, Judith Roddy and Matt Ryan.  This will be the play's first major London revival since its premiere in 1995, when it instantly established Harrower as one of the UK's leading playwrights.

Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park (OSP) is pleased to announce it has received a $15,000.00 grant from the Carolyn Watson Rural Oklahoma Community Foundation and its Community Grant program.  The grant will be used to assist in funding the Short Shakespeare touring program, which will allow Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park to increase services to individuals in rural Oklahoma.

The dog days of summer arrive early this year, as Rubicon Theatre Company presents a spring production of A.R. Gurney's howlingly funny canine comedy SYLVIA, a love story about empty nesters Greg and Kate, and an irrepressible mutt named Sylvia. Written by Drama Desk, Obie and Lortel Award-winning playwright A.R. Gurney (also known for Love Letters and The Dining Room), the plot follows what happens after a man going through a midlife crisis finds a dog in Central Park and brings her home without consulting his wife.

Director Thomas Ostermeier's critically lauded Schaubuhne production of AN ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE by Henrik Ibsen will be presented on Broadway in the 2017-2018 season at a theater to be announced. The acclaimed version by Florian Borchmeyer & Thomas Ostermeier will have a new English adaptation by MacArthur 'Genius' Fellow Branden Jacobs-Jenkins.

The revival of Hello, Dolly opens tonight on Broadway, starring Bette Midler and featuring a star-studded cast. The Broadway revival of Michael Stewart and Jerry Herman's masterpiece Hello, Dolly! is directed by four-time Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks and choreographed by Tony Award winner Warren Carlyle. San Francisco Ballet, long recognized for pushing boundaries in dance, has announced its 2017-18 Season program and schedule. A new season of The History of the World in 100 Performances with Adam Gopnik begins on Monday, April 3, at the David Rubenstein Atrium, with a look at the career of the great American soprano Leontyne Price. Joining Gopnik are internationally renowned soprano Renee Fleming and rising soprano Julia Bullock. Interspersed with audio and video clips, they will discuss Ms. Price's extraordinary career and the significance of the pioneering African-American soprano's role on the world's stages. Ms. Bullock will also sing several of Ms. Price's signature arias. The entire evening will be streamed on Facebook Live on Lincoln Center's Facebook Page.
