Nicolas Talar for Enzo Products Ltd and Adam Blanshay Productions have announced the full casting for Notre Dame de Paris. Twenty years after its Parisian debut, and after receiving international acclaim in 23 countries worldwide, the French musical is set to be performed at London Coliseum. The original French production in London will be performed with English surtitles and a live orchestra from Wednesday 23 Sunday 27 January 2019, with a national press night on Wednesday 23 January 2019 at 7pm. The London run will culminate with the 5,000th performance of the worldwide hit show.

Patti LuPone will return to the film world in the historical epic, 'Cliffs of Freedom' with Christopher Plummer. The film depicts the start of the Greek War of Independence in 1821 and is directed by Van Ling, who co-wrote the screenplay with Marianne Metropoulos and Kevin Bernhardt.

Ring in the New Year on January 4 and 5 with guest conductor Xian Zhang, whose "incisive gestures elicit vivid performances" ("The New York Times"), as she leads the orchestra in six dazzling pieces, including well-known melodies from "The Sleeping Beauty," Joan Tower's "Fanfare for the Uncommon Woman," and lively Viennese waltzes. The celebratory music is a clever juxtaposition to Szymanowski's lush and mysterious Violin Concerto No. 1, performed by concertmaster Madeline Adkins.

Porchlight Music Theatre begins its sixth season of Chicago's "lost" musicals in staged concert series with Porchlight Revisits 1776, music and lyrics by Sherman Edwards and book by Peter Stone with direction by Artistic Director Michael Weber, musical direction by Jeremy Ramey and musical staging by Michelle Lauto.

Bringing together some of today's most remarkable ballet talents, Daniel Ulbricht's Stars of American Ballet returns to Jacob's Pillow, appearing in the Ted Shawn Theatre August 22-26. Boston Ballet's 2018-2019 season opens with Genius at Play, a program that celebrates the centennial of choreographer Jerome Robbins' birth, his storied career, and his countless contributions to dance. The all-Robbins program opens with an orchestral performance of Leonard Bernstein's Candide Overture followed by Interplay, a bright and colorful work for eight dancers set to a jazz score by Morton Gould, and Fancy Free, his first of many collaborations with composer Leonard Bernstein, which depicts the antics of sailors on shore leave in New York City in the 1940s. The program concludes with the Company premiere of Glass Pieces, a bustling tribute to urban life choreographed for 42 dancers and set to music by Philip Glass. Genius at Play runs September 6-16, 2018, at the Boston Opera House.
