American Dance Machine for the 21st Century (ADM21), for those who love the dance in Broadway musicals, will return to New York City's Joyce Theater (175 Eighth Avenue) after their sold out run last year, it was announced today by founder and producing artistic director Nikki Feirt Atkins. Performances begin Tuesday, December 22nd and run through Sunday, January 3rd. Tickets start at $10.

Glasgow Theatres' Creative Learning team is proud to announce casting for the city's first Stage Experience production of Bugsy Malone. The 90 strong cast of young performers aged 9-18 years old will embark on an intense two week course led by industry professionals culminating with three live performances on the Theatre Royal stage on Friday 31 July and Saturday 1 August.

For our March feature, my colleague Jeff Walker and I thought that instead of marking the Ides of March with songs about murder, betrayal, and fate, we would focus on the synergy between showtunes and Shakespeare.

Tony Award-winning costume designer, JESS GOLDSTEIN (currently represented on Broadway with Jersey Boys and On the Town), and scenic designer DOUGLAS W. SCHMIDT are among the 2015 TDF/Irene Sharaff Awards recipients. The awards will be presented at a ceremony on Friday, May 1, at 6:30pm, at the Hudson Theatre (145 West 44th Street). Mr. Goldstein was selected to receive the 2015 TDF/Irene Sharaff Lifetime Achievement Award for costume design and Mr. Schmidt will receive the Robert L.B. Tobin Award for Sustained Excellence in Theatrical Design.

Today, we're featuring Ted Wass circa 1981. Wass is best known for his roles as Danny Dallas on the series Soap (1977-1981) and as Nick Russo on the NBC sitcom Blossom (1991-1995). Since Blossom ended its run in 1995, Wass has retired from acting and has focused only on directing episodic television. In 1976, Wass made his Broadway debut in the production Grease playing Danny Zuko.
