The Vineyard Theatre has announced the cast for the world-premiere of Jenny Schwartz's SOMEWHERE FUN. Ms. Schwartz returns to The Vineyard following her critically acclaimed play GOD'S EAR in 2008.

The Marsh Berkeley presents a night of mystery, mayhem, and cold-blooded murder with the World Premiere of A KILLER STORY, written by Dan Harder and directed by Michelle Haner. A KILLER STORY is a fast-paced, entertaining 'noir' tale about a tough, bright sleuth who outsmarts everybody, including himself as he attempts to find a missing scientist who is on the verge of creating the revolutionary/evolutionary 'brain chip.'

Collaboration Town in partnership with Sister Scars will present the World Premiere production of ALL GIRLS, written by Anna Greenfield (Norma and Claude Get Married at the Lee Strasberg Institute) and directed by Lee Sunday Evans (The Play About My Dad at 59E59). The production will feature Zoe Costello, Anna Greenfield, and Anna Ryan Konkle.

New Georges (Susan Bernfield, Producing Artistic Director; Sarah Cameron Sunde, Deputy Artistic Director; Jaynie Saunders Tiller, Managing Director) will present the World Premiere of Lynn Rosen's (Apple Cove with Women's Project) GOLDOR $ MYTHYKA: A HERO IS BORN directed by Shana Gold (Food and Fadwa with New York Theatre Workshop) April 3-27 at The New Ohio Theatre (154 Christopher Street between Greenwich and Washington). Casting will be announced on Friday, February 22. Tickets will go on sale Friday, March 1.

Based on his one-man-show, Alex Davis: Man of the Year, seen a year ago at the famed Knitting Factory Brooklyn, Shaving is a powerful rock musical memoir about love and self-transformation with music & lyrics by Alex Davis and a book by Alex Davis & Miranda Russo. Directed by Joseph Hendel and featuring a live band under the musical direction of Kris Kukul, Shaving features a cast of 7.

Dog & Pony Theatre Company announces its two latest works: THE DINNER PARTY PROJECT, a one-night only performance April 17 at Ada Street restaurant that incorporates a three-course meal from celebrated chef Michael Kornick of DMK Burger Bar and Fish Bar; and THE WHOLE WORLD IS WATCHING, a world premiere play with music that offers a look at the Democratic National Convention of 1968 in Chicago May 4-June 9 at the Victory Gardens Biograph Theater.

The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Executive Director Patrick Willingham) will present the return of GATZ, the theatrical adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby, this spring for a limited seven-week engagement.

On Friday March 2, 2012, New Georges (Susan Bernfield, Artistic Director; Sarah Cameron Sunde, Deputy Artistic Director; Jaynie Saunders Tiller, Managing Director), the OBIE-winning Off Off Broadway theatre company, will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a benefit Birthday Bash at 3LD Art & Technology Center, 80 Greenwich Street, Lower Manhattan. The evening will include cocktails, catered hors d'oeuvres, special performances which include moments from New Georges' first 20 years, and a dance party.

The Department of Theatre at Barnard College has initiated a collaboration with the award-winning nonprofit company New Georges to launch "New Plays at Barnard," a program to showcase works by emerging playwrights.

The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Executive Director Patrick Willingham) announced complete casting today for the return of GATZ, the critically lauded theatrical adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby. Created and performed by Elevator Repair Service, this award-winning theatrical event, directed by John Collins and featuring Scott Shepherd as Nick, will begin previews on Wednesday, March 14 and run through Sunday, May 6 for 28 performances only in the Newman Theater.
