The Warner Theatre will welcome comedian and actor KEVIN JAMES back to the Main Stage on Saturday, June 27 at 8 pm. Tickets will go on sale to Warner Members on Wednesday, February 19 at 10 am and to the General Public on Friday, February 21 at 10 am. Kevin James began his career as a stand-up on the Long Island comedy scene. After being discovered at the 1996 Montreal Comedy Festival, he signed a network development deal to create his own sitcom. The King of Queens, which premiered in 1998, ran for nine seasons on CBS with James starring and executive producing, and it garnered him an Emmy nomination in 2006 for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. The show concluded its run in 2007 but continues to air daily in syndication across the country and around the world. James also starred in and executive produced the sitcom Kevin Can Wait for Sony Television and CBS.

In this show, FST Improv cast members weave a story of romance, heartache, and fate told through music and comedy. When X Meets Y has been performing to sold out audiences for the past four years. Today, multi-platinum Danish rock band Volbeat confirm 15 U.S. headlining dates on their “Rewind, Replay, Rebound World Tour” this April and May, bringing the tour to cities including Las Vegas, Nashville, Atlanta, Baltimore, and New York City (full dates below). Special guests Clutch will be direct support on all dates, with the exception of the May 2nd Hershey, PA show which will feature direct support from Gojira. The Picturebooks will open each night on this tour. Ticket pre-sales begin Tuesday, January 14th and general on-sales begin Friday, January 17 at 10am local time here. Tony-nominated composer Paul Gordon is one of those rare musical theater creators who, like Lin-Manuel Miranda, can write the whole show a?" book, music and lyrics. Gordon's latest work is the musical a?oePride and Prejudicea?? soon to start its world premiere run at TheatreWorks Silicon Valley. He has formed a close relationship with the company over the years, including hit productions of his shows a?oeJane Eyre,a?? a?oeEmma,a?? a?oeBeing Earnest,a?? and a?oeDaddy Long Legs.a?? Interestingly, Gordon initially found success as a composer of pop music writing for, and collaborating with, numerous recording artists, including Bette Midler, Quincy Jones, Alanis Morissette, Smokey Robinson and Dionne Warwick. An abiding love for musical theater led to a fortuitous meeting with esteemed director John Caird that opened up a whole new career for Gordon. BroadwayWorld caught up with him while he was still in the thick of the rehearsal process for his new show, which can be a very stressful time. In conversation, Gordon appeared surprisingly calm as he chatted about the development of a?oePride and Prejudicea?? and his plans to build new audiences for musical theater.
