Simmons kicks off Lyric Stage's 2022/23 season with a universal story about trying to make a life of your own while reconciling and making peace with your past, your family, and the perception of the place you hold in the world.

Drawing inspiration from concerts that evolved from Brooklyn front porches to its own rooftop balcony and large-scale exhibitions mounted on its exterior facade, St. Ann’s Warehouse will return, merging public art, theater, and activism at a whole new level.

Current production at North Carolina Theater features the music of 26-time Grammy Award-winning husband-and-wife team Gloria and Emilio Estefan. 'On Your Feet!' tells the story of two talented people who created an international sensation with their music. Featuring Estefan's hit songs, 'Anything for you', 'Rhythm Is Gonna Get You,' 'Conga,' 'Get on Your Feet,' 'Don't Want to Lose You,' '1-2-3,' and 'Coming Out of the Dark,' the show spans both their early years in Miami up to her devastating bus accident in 1990 that left her with a broken back. The award-winning musical had its debut in 2015 and has seen audiences on their feet ever since.

The Latiné Musical Theatre Lab, an organization that develops and advocates for new Latiné-written works of musical theatre in order to radically change who gets to tell musical stories on stages across the country, is presenting its inaugural Julia de Burgos Cohort.

The sixth week of the Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival 2022 welcomes New Zealand-based company Black Grace to the Ted Shawn Theatre, from July 27-31.

Playing the leads, Jaime Vadell (Tres tristes tigres, No) and Gloria Münchmeyer (La luna en el espejo, 42 días en la oscuridad) will play the central couple in this historical dark comedy, in addition to actors Alfredo Castro (Tony Manero, Tengo Miedo Torero) and Paula Luchsinger (Ema, La Jauría).

Syracuse Stage has announced casting for the world premiere of How to Dance in Ohio, a new musical inspired by Alexandra Shiva’s Peabody Award-winning documentary of the same name.
