Classic Stage Company announced today its full programming for Classic Perspectives, a series of post-show conversations inspired by Frances Ya-Chu Cowhig’s play, Snow in Midsummer.

Ballet Hispánico has announced the Washington, D.C. premiere of Doña Perón at the Kennedy Center, November 30 - December 3, 2022, Wed - Sat at 8pm, Sat at 2pm.

TFANA has extended the run of Alice Childress’s Wedding Band, directed by Awoye Timpo, to May 22. (The production, which began previews April 28—postponed from an original date of April 23 due to two COVID-19 cases—was formerly set to close May 15).

Yale Repertory Theatre will conclude its 2022 season with Between Two Knees. The play, written by the intertribal sketch comedy troupe The 1491s and directed by Eric Ting, is presented with Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Between Two Knees will be performed May 12–June 4 at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street).

TFANA will present Alice Childress’s Wedding Band. Director Awoye Timpo’s new staging, running April 23–May 15, brings Childress’s masterpiece to New York audiences for the first time since 1972, when it made its New York premiere in a production directed by Childress and Joseph Papp.

Broadway Records announced today the digital release of Assassins (The 2022 Off-Broadway Cast Recording). The album preserves Stephen Sondheim's full score with the recent Classic Stage Company cast with direction by John Doyle.

Third Man Records is excited to announce reissues of Redd Kross' two beloved 1990s albums, Phaseshifter (1993) and Show World (1997). The 180-gram vinyl-only reissues, which come on the heels of their amazing 2019 album Beyond The Door and after 40 years as a band, will mark the first-ever North American vinyl pressings of either album.
