This month, Juilliard Dances Repertory presents repertory works by acclaimed choreographers Eliot Feld, Juilliard alumnus Lar Lubovitch, and Twyla Tharp. Juilliard dancers perform Baker's Dozen by Twyla Tharp; Concerto Six Twenty-Two by Lar Lubovitch; and The Jig is Up by Eliot Feld. All three dances were choreographed between 1979 and 1986, and Juilliard dancers have had the opportunity to learn the dances through intensive work with two of the choreographers - Eliot Feld and Lar Lubovitch - and with Juilliard alumna Shelley Washington, an original member of the cast of Twyla Tharp's work.

God, Was That You?: Coincidences from over Five Thousand Hours of Flight and Forty-Four Years' (published by WestBow Press), author Ron Gluck anecdotally recounts his 44 years of service as a Jungle Aviation and Radio Service (JAARS) pilot and as a subsequent international relations liaison, detailing roles he believes God played in the South Pacific, Africa air travels and advancing host government alliances.

The Brooklyn Museum today announced that the Brooklyn Artists Ball, the fourth installment of its annual fundraising gala celebrating Brooklyn's creative community, will take place on Wednesday, April 16. This year, the Museum will honor art patrons Jane and David Walentas and artists Jenny Holzer, Ai Weiwei, and Kehinde Wiley.

The Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and Associate Conductor Francesco Lecce-Chong present Leonard Bernstein's On the Town today, January 31-February 1, 2014 at 8:00 p.m. at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts with soprano Georgia Jarman. The program features Bernstein's Three Dance Episodes from On the Town and On the Waterfront Symphonic Suite, Foss's Time Cycle, and Barber's Knoxville: Summer of 1915, Opus 24.
