Under the Radar will return for its 21st edition. Since its reemergence in 2024, Under the Radar has gathered artists, audiences, and theater industry experts around a thrilling array of contemporary performances shaped by fearless experimentation.  

Established in 1976, the Olivier Awards celebrate the world-class status of London theatre, and are Britain’s most prestigious stage honours. Leading the way this year is Tom Scutt's Fiddler on the Roof which matches Hamilton's record-breaking 13 nominations, represented in every acting and creative category.

New York Live Arts' will present the World Premiere of Lisa Fagan and Lena Engelstein's Friday Night Rat Catchers, the latest creation from an experimental duo whose unconventional performative frameworks are rooted in dance-adjacent physicality.

“The Turn of the Screw,” a deft psychological exploration of the dimensions of horror and the human mind. UAO’s successful staging of the work appropriately raised more questions than it answered, about danger, fear, the limits of human perception, and a host of other commonplaces in horror.

In addition to her “Wonderland”—a song conceived of at the Alice in Wonderland statue in New York’s Central Park and co-written with Sprague— she ends the EP with her rendition of Jeff Lynne’s “Mr. Blue Sky,” from Electric Light Orchestra’s 1977 album Out of the Blue. (The music video for “Wonderland” will be released with the album in April).

Instead of introducing one tune, the vibrant and lucent vocalist releases three full EPs (six songs each) from January to March in anticipation of the April 14 release of her fourth CD, RETRO Trilogy on Allegato Music. '1977,' the first of the three EPs, was released in January, the second EP '1988' in March and '1999' is available now.

He was first and foremost a classical composer and pianist with over 50 works including five symphonies, symphonic poems, instrumental concertos, choral and chamber works.

Lawrence Cherney, Founding Artistic Director, Soundstreams, today announced details about the company's inaugural onstage production since March 2020 'A Love Song To Toronto'. Presented on the eve of an historic Soundstreams tour taking Canadian music to Germany and the U.K., 'A Love Song to Toronto' is a celebration of renowned Canadian composer Claude Vivier's works. This in-person event will be performed live at St. Andrew's Church, Toronto on April 28th, 2022.

In association with its new exhibition Fearless Fashion: Rudi Gernreich, the Skirball Cultural Center presents excerpts of choreographer Bella Lewitzky's seminal 1971 work Inscape. Wearing iconic costumes originally designed by fashion pioneer Rudi Gernreich and now newly reconstructed by Diana MacNeil, dancers from Luminario Ballet worked with John Pennington of Pennington Dance Group to recreate elements of this masterwork. As described by the New York Times in 1979, [Inscape] still has the fascination of Rudi Gernreich's decor and stretch fabric costumes, which are totally integrated into the design and intent of Miss Lewitzky's choreography.

EgoPo Classic Theater announces their 2018-19 Season: Theater of South Africa, celebrating great dramatic works of South Africa and highlighting the remarkable transformation from apartheid to democracy.
