Court Theatre Extends Critically-Acclaimed Production of ALL MY SONS

Court Theatre, under the continuing leadership of Charles Newell, Marilyn F. Vitale Artistic Director, announces the extension of All My Sons by Arthur Miller, directed by Charles Newell and featuring Kate Collins, John Judd and Timothy Edward Kane. All My Sons now runs through February 18, 2018 at Court Theatre, 5535 S. Lunar New Year Concert To Include U.S. Premiere By Andy Akiho

The New York Philharmonic announces program updates for its Lunar New Year Concert and Gala, led by Long Yu, on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, at 7:30 p.m. The program will feature Andy Akiho's Ricochet, Concerto for Ping Pong, Violin, Percussion, and Orchestra, featuring Philharmonic violinist Elizabeth Zeltser (in her Philharmonic solo debut), ping pong players Ariel Hsing and Michael Landers (Philharmonic debuts), and percussionist David Cossin (Philharmonic debut). As previously announced, the program will also include Li Huanzhi's Spring Festival Overture and Beethoven's Choral Fantasy, with pianist Serena Wang, the Farmers' Chorus of the Yunnan Province, soprano Vanessa Vasquez, tenors Chad Johnson and Issachah Savage, and bass Alex Rosen, all in their Philharmonic debuts (the additional soprano and mezzo-soprano will be announced at a later date).

The Atlanta Opera has received an $850,000 grant from the Lettie Pate Evans Foundation. The grant will help the company make capital investments in support of the organization's recent growth. The Lettie Pate Evans Foundation is part of the family of foundations that also includes the Robert W. Woodruff Foundation. The Opera last received a grant from the Woodruff Foundation in 2007.

The Hip Hop Nutcracker (www.hiphopnutcracker.com), a contemporary dance spectacle set to Tchaikovsky's timeless music, hits the road this holiday season to 28 U.S. cities. The show will perform in Rochester at RBTL's Auditorium Theatre for one night only on December 20! Produced by the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) with Executive Producer, Eva Price, and co-commissioned by the United Palace of Cultural Arts, The Hip Hop Nutcracker will feature Kurtis Blow, one of hip hop's founding fathers, opening the show in most cities with a short set before rapping the introduction.

The Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami (ICA Miami) opens the doors to its new permanent home in the Miami Design District on December 1, 2017. Marking the first U.S. project designed by Spanish firm Aranguren + Gallegos Arquitectos, the new 37,500-square-foot building launches with a bold inaugural program that reflects the museum's mission of championing new narratives in contemporary art and providing a platform for the exchange of art and ideas. With more than double the gallery space and a new outdoor sculpture garden, ICA Miami's new home enables the museum to present ambitious thematic surveys for the first time in its history, as well as to expand its commitment to mounting monographic presentations of emerging talent, commissioning site-specific and boundary-pushing works of art, and fostering new scholarship.
