The band's front man, Tim DeLaughter, describes the album as a rising-from-the-ashes record with acoustic elements and rich folk music. The album was crowdfunded by their dedicated audience.

Next month, the New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA) opens the first major retrospective of photographer Debbie Fleming Caffery, with black-and-white prints ranging from the 1970s to the present.
