Fresh off seven overwhelmingly successful Holiday POPS! performances, the musical magic continues for another season of Peter Nero and the Philly Pops! Four fabulous concert series are planned for the 2011-2012 season.

The Roy Arias Studios & Theaters, located in the Times Square Arts Center at 300 West 43rd Street, will present the first Times Square International Theater Festival from January 16 to 22, 2012.

The Museum of the City of New York (MCNY), presented the special exhibition Joel Grey / A New York Life, examining the enduring impact that legendary actor Joel Grey and his adopted city have made on each other from April 12 - August 7, 2011. Through rare artifacts from his stage and screen career, objects from his personal collection, and his own photography, MCNY offered a unique look at New York through Grey's eyes as well as a visual retrospective of his career. Producers Lee Dean, Laurence Myers and Joey Parnes announced today that the complete cast of the Broadway premiere of End of the Rainbow, a new play with music, is in place. Michael Cumpsty, Tom Pelphrey and Jay Russell will join two-time Oliver Award-winner Tracie Bennett in Peter Quilter's acclaimed play about the legendary Judy Garland. Directed by the Tony® Award winning Terry Johnson, End of the Rainbow will begin performances on Monday, March 19, 2012 at the Belasco Theatre, with an opening night now set for Monday, April 2.

A.R.T. American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) opens its 2011-12 season with The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess, by George Gershwin, DuBose and Dorothy Heyward, and Ira Gershwin. The adaptation by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Suzan-Lori Parks and Obie Award-winning composer Diedre L. Murray, directed by A.R.T. Artistic Director Diane Paulus, with choreography by Ronald K. Brown, begins previews on August 17 and opens for the reviewing press on August 31 at 7pm. Performances are at the Loeb Drama Center, 64 Brattle Street, Cambridge. Tickets for preview performances are currently on sale, remaining tickets for the run go on sale on July 12. Atlantic Theater Company (Neil Pepe, Artistic Director, Jeffory Lawson, Managing Director) is proud to announce its 2011-2012 season productions, featuring world premieres from Academy Award® winner Ethan Coen, Fernanda Coppel, Gabe McKinley, Adam Rapp, and Pulitzer Prize winner John Patrick Shanley, as well as a U.S. premiere from Simon Stephens starring Olivier Award winner Simon Russell Beale.

Fans of the 1998 film The Wedding Singer, which proved an unqualified hit for its stars Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore, will relish seeing the quirky story revisited on the big stage of the Carpenter Center in Long Beach. In 2006 The Wedding Singer was turned into a Broadway musical with the identical Ridgefield, New Jersey characters, but with some alterations in plotline. What counts most is the upbeat 80s humor, which the stage version retains in spades, as well as unlimited heart. MTW (Musical Theatre West)'s regional premiere does the show proud under Larry Raben's dynamite direction and sporting a rollicking cast.
