New Repertory Theatre joins the nationwide celebration of the late playwright Arthur Miller's 100th birthday with the Boston area premiere of BROKEN GLASS, one of his last plays. In keeping with New Rep's season theme of "Identity," Miller's Olivier Award-winning and Tony-nominated drama is a multi-faceted exploration of what it means to be Jewish, set against the backdrop of the ascent of the Nazi Party in Germany in the days following Kristallnacht in November, 1938. A stellar cast under the thoughtful direction of Artistic Director Jim Petosa inhabits Miller's characters, intuiting their emotional journeys with remarkable authenticity.

The Peccadillo Theater Company presents a staged reading of Clifford Odets's ROCKET TO THE MOON, directed by Dan Wackerman at the Theatre at St. Clement's on Monday, March 10, 2014 at 7 p.m. The reading will star Jonathan Hadary (Broadway's Golden Boy, Awake and Sing! and Gypsy); Jason Kravitz (Broadway's Relatively Speaking and The Drowsy Chaperone); and Lou Liberatore (Tony nominee for Burn This).

Founded as the Goodman School of Drama in 1925, The Theatre School presents public programming as a professional extension of the classroom. Under the leadership of an award-winning faculty and staff, theatre artists from all disciplines collaborate during their final years of training to create a full and diverse season of programming.

Berkeley Repertory Theatre has announced The Pianist of Willesden Lane, a one-woman play starring internationally acclaimed pianist and storyteller Mona Golabek. Based on the book The Children of Willesden Lane by Golabek and Lee Cohen, the play is set in Vienna in 1938 and in London during the Blitzkrieg and tells the true story of Golabek's mother, Lisa Jura, a young Jewish musician whose dreams are interrupted by the Nazi regime. In this poignant show, Golabek performs some of the world's most beautiful music live as she relates the real-life legacy of her mother's quest to survive.
