The Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts announced the details of its 2013-2014 Season on Monday night. The RHCPA follows up its highly successful third season, Captured Moments, with a lineup guaranteed to provide something for every taste. Filled with premieres and exclusive GTA appearances the 2013-2014 Season will further solidify the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts as the centre of culture in York Region.

"Our 2013-2014 season reminisces a bit...yet it is a season that is fresh, original and unique", says Michael Grit, Theatre Manager for the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts. "It is hard to believe that we are celebrating five years already but despite our successes so far I believe that we are just warming up"

Shows range from solo performances to ensemble plays from October 2012-May 2013. Take a look at the full season below.

Peter Pan-Sunday October 6, 2012 at 11am and 2pm

Fly to Neverland and escape the evil Captain Hook in this brand new musical adaptation of the J.M. Barrie classic tale. Produce by the acclaimed TheatreworksUSA, this production encourages children to let their imaginations take "flight" in their own world of make-believe. Single tickets $25, $20

Land of the Eternals-Thursday October 10, 2012 at 8pm

World Champion, Olympic Silver Medalist and Richmond Hill native Elvis Stojko stars in this one-of-a-kind exciting event. Using innovative Pic Skates, professional dancers and figure skaters will showcase the artistry and athleticism of skating, through a unique combination of theatre, dance, and much more. Single tickets $45. $40

James Darren-Wednesday October 16, 2013 at 8pm

James Darren has enjoyed a successful, multi-faceted career, spanning five decades of motion picture, television, recording and live concert performances. The 1961 Grammy- nominated "Goodbye Cruel World," held the No. 1 spot on the Billboard charts for six weeks and made James Darren one of the most sought after musical acts of his generation. Ken Taylor-Wednesday October 23, 2013 at 8pm

Our inaugural Speaker Series begins with the former Canadian Ambassador to Iran. Mr. Taylor risked his life to help save the lives of six American hostages during the Iran Crisis, a story which was recently re-told in the Oscar winning film Argo. As a former diplomat and as an advisor to corporations on issues of political risk, Mr. Taylor's presentation highlighting his career is insightful and relevant to a wide variety of audiences. David Brenner-Thursday October 24, 2013 at 8pm

Comedian David Brenner is having a remarkable career. Beginning with his debut appearance on The Tonight Show, where he went on to make the most appearances of any guest, to his new show rooted in current events, David Brenner continues to keep them laughing with his edgy and insightful humour. Sloan-Friday October 25, 2013 at 8pm

One of the most successful Canadian bands of the '90s, Sloan has spent their career redefining the alternative rock genre. Originally hailing from Halifax this Juno award winning band has released 10 albums, most recently a "best of" collection and no less than thirty singles. 20 years later, Sloan has remained one of Canada's most accomplished bands thrilling audiences with their unique sound. Jesse Cook-Friday November 1, 2013 at 8pm

Juno Award-winning Canadian guitarist, composer, and producer Jesse Cook returns to the RHCPA after an appearance in our inaugural season. Widely considered one of the most influential figures in "nouveau flamenco" music, he incorporates elements of flamenco rumba, jazz & many forms of world music into his work and has sold over 1.5 million records worldwide. Romeo and Juliet-Wednesday November 13, 2013 at 7pm

Shakespeare's classic love story is brought to life in Ballet Jörgen Canada's dance interpretation of the tragedy of two lovers whose struggle for love and happiness ends in death. This acclaimed production has toured across the globe gaining international recognition and critical acclaim. Single tickets $25, $20

Classic Albums LIVE - Led Zeppelin II-Thursday November 14, 2013 at 8pm

Released in 1969, Zeppelin II is widely considered to be the band's greatest work by rock and roll fans of all ages. Featuring such classics as, Whole Lotta Love, Heartbreaker and Moby Dick, Classic Albums Live will help you 'get the led out'. Complete the evening with a second act dedicated to Led Zeppelin's greatest hits. Single tickets $45, $40

Wingfield's Folly-Tuesday November 26, 2013 at 8pm

The RHCPA continues its presentation of the complete Wingfield cycle with the third installment, Wingfield's Folly. In this sequel to Letter from Wingfield Farm and Wingfield's Progress, Walt finally figures out why he can't make a profit and embarks on a course which results in his most profound crisis to date - and that's saying something! A Christmas Carol-Saturday December 7 and 8, 2013 at 11am and 2pm

In this musical interpretation of the Charles Dickens classic, Ebenezer Scrooge learns the true meaning of the holiday season thanks to some unexpected visitors. Single tickets $25, $20

Festival of Carols-Saturday December 7, 2013 at 8pm

Celebrate the season with the RHCPA and the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir. Gather the family for this festive TMC tradition and rejoice in the spirit of Christmas with triumphant polychoral music and heart warming and humorous stories. Join in the annual carol sing-along and add your voice to Canada's greatest choir. Single tickets $40, $35

Linda Eder-Wednesday December 18, 2013 at 8pm

Possessing one of the greatest contemporary solo voices of our time, Linda Eder has captivated audiences across the country with her unique repertoire of Broadway, Pop and Jazz standards. Returning to the RHCPA stage, Linda will warm your heart with a concert dedicated to the holidays. Single tickets $55, $50

Big Band New Year's-Tuesday December 31, 2013 at 9:30pm

Ring in the New Year with a special program guaranteed to have you moving till midnight and beyond. The RHCPA proudly presents a live recreation of the famous 1938 Carnegie Hall Jazz Concert by Benny Goodman" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benny_Goodman">Benny Goodman. Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day-Thursday January 15, 2014 at 7pm

Have you ever had a really rotten day? Alexander has... He wakes up with gum in his hair, trips on a skateboard, and accidentally drops his sweater in the sink - all before breakfast! Profeti della Quinta-Tuesday January 28, 2014 at 8pm

This unique evening will begin with a screening of Hebreo, a short documentary created by the members of Profetti della Quinta based on the life of Jewish Italian composer Salomone Rossi. The film will be followed by a live performance by the Swiss based vocal ensemble showcasing the incredible music of this revolutionary 17th Century composer. Single tickets $30, $25

The Graduate-Friday January 31 and Saturday February 1, 2014 at 2pm and 8pm

In 1967, The Graduate was released, featuring the memorable, boyish face of Dustin Hoffman as the lost but heroically determined Benjamin Braddock. More than 45 years later, L.A. Theatre Works brings the classic film to the stage in an adaptation that proves we all still ask the question.... what does the future hold? Single tickets $55, $50

Classic Albums LIVE - The Wall-Wednesday February 19, 2014 at 8pm

Honeymoon Suite-Wednesday February 26, 2014 at 8pm

Debby Boone-Friday February 28, 2014 at 8pm

Celebrate the RHCPA's 5th Birthday with Grammy award winner and legendary singer Debby Boone. Sandra Bernhard-Friday March 7 and Saturday March 8, 2014 at 8pm

The Joy Luck Club-Tuesday March 18 and Wednesday March 19, 2014 at 8pm

Based on the best selling novel, The Joy Luck Club is a timeless tale with universal relevance following the path of four immigrant women and their four American born daughters. Molly Ringwald-Thursday April 10, 2014 at 8pm

Classic Albums LIVE - Abbey Road-Wednesday April 23, 2014 at 8pm

Possibly one of the greatest albums of all time, Abbey Road was the 11th studio album of the Beatles. Featuring such immortal hits as Come Together, Something and I Want You (She's So Heavy) Classic Albums Live bring the Fab 4 to life onstage. Rex Reed-Tuesday May 6, 2014 at 8pm

The RHCPA's inaugural Speaker Series wraps up with renowned American film critic Rex Reed. The former co-host of the syndicated television show Roger Ebert" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/At_the_Movies_with_Gene_Siskel_and_Roger_Ebert">At the Movies, Rex Reed shares his incredible insight into film and celebrities. Big Bad Voodoo Daddy-Thursday May 8, 2014 at 8pm

Celebrating their 20th Anniversary, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy has spent their career teleporting audiences on a rambunctious roller coaster ride filled with big horns, wild jungle-jazz rhythms and zoot suits. This incredible nine-piece ensemble delivers a high-energy, swinging party every time they take the stage. Single tickets $45, $40
