Duck and cover, make it to high ground, stop, drop and roll, batten down the hatches -- prepare to weather the storm! BroadwayWorld has learned that the new musical Disaster! will begin performances on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 and officially open on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Broadway's Nederlander Theatre (208 West 41st Street).

DISASTER! stars Tony Award winner Roger Bart (You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown), Tony Award nominee Kerry Butler (Xanadu), three-time Tony Award nominee Kevin Chamberlin (The Addams Family), Tony Award nominee Adam Pascal (Rent), Tony Award winner Faith Prince (Guys & Dolls), Drama Desk Award winner Rachel York (Victor/Victoria), three-time Emmy Award nominee Seth Rudetsky (SiriusXM's "Seth's Big Fat Broadway"), Drama Desk Award nominee Jennifer Simard (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), Max Crumm (Grease) and Lacretta Nicole.

Just when you thought it was safe to go back to the theatre comes Broadway's new musical comedy Disaster! Earthquakes, tidal waves, infernos and rampant wildlife can't stop an outrageous cast of characters from dancing, gambling and singing the night away aboard New York's first floating casino and discothéque.DISASTER! features some of the most memorable pop, rock and disco hits of the 1970's, including "Hot Stuff," "I Am Woman," "Knock On Wood," "Daybreak" and more.

DISASTER! will feature scenic design by Tony Award nominee Tobin Ost (Newsies), costume design by six- time Tony Award winner William Ivey Long (The Producers, Hairspray) and lighting design by Tony Award winner Jeff Croiter (Peter and the Starcatcher).

Additional cast and design team will be announced shortly.

Tickets for Disaster! will go on sale exclusively for Citi Card Members beginning Monday, November 9, 2015. Citi Card Members will have access to the Citi Presale event beginning Monday, November 9 at 10:00am EST and will continue to have exclusive access through Monday, November 16 at 9:59am EST by visiting www.citiprivatepass.com.

Beginning Monday, November 16, 2015 Disaster! tickets will be available through Audience Rewards (www.AudienceRewards.com), Broadway's official rewards program, for a presale event through Friday, November 20 at 9:59am. Members of the program will be able to purchase tickets and earn Audience Rewards Bonus Points through Friday, November 20 at 9:59am.

DISASTER! debuted at New York's Triad Theatre on January 22, 2012, and ran through March 25, 2012. The critically-acclaimed musical comedy moved Off-Broadway to St. Luke's Theatre, where it played from October 14, 2013 through April 11, 2014, topping many "Best of 2013" lists include The Daily News' "Theater's 10 Best of 2013" and Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's Entertainment Weekly "Must List."

KEVIN CHAMBERLIN (Maury) has received three Tony Award nominations and three Drama Desk nominations for his starring roles on Broadway as Horton the Elephant in Seussical, Charlie in Dirty Blonde and Uncle Fester in The Addams Family. Other Broadway credits include The Ritz, Chicago, Triumph of Love, My Favorite Year and Abe Lincoln In Illinois. At City Center's Encores: Stairway to Paradise, One Touch of Venus and Ziegfeld Follies of 1938. Off Broadway: Smoke on the Mountain at The Lamb's Theater, Wonder of the World at MTC, Juno at The Vineyard, Wiseguys and Dirty Blonde at New York Theater Workshop. In Los Angeles, Kevin directs for Disney Channel and most recently starred in productions of Hair and Spamalot at the Hollywood Bowl. ADAM PASCAL (Chad) starred as the original Roger Davis in the Off-Broadway, Broadway and London Productions of Rent and went to play the original Radames in Broadway's Aida. He starred as the final Emcee in the Roundabout's Broadway Production of Cabaret, played Huey Calhoun in Broadway's Memphis and, most recently. played Billy Flynn in Broadway's long running hit Chicago. Adam can be heard on numerous cast album and movie soundtracks including Rent, School of Rock and Chess Live at The Royal Albert Hall, along with Josh Groban and Idina Menzel. He has 3 solo cd's, "Model Prisoner," "Civilian" and "Blinding Light." He is the co-owner along with his wife Cybele, of the Gluten and Allergen free packaged foods company CYBELE'S FREE TO EAT which can be found in thousands of supermarkets across the country.

FAITH PRINCE (Shirley). Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for her performance as "Ms. Adelaide" in Guys and Dolls. Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards Nominations for A Catered Affair. SETH RUDETSKY (Co-Writer; Ted Scheider) is the afternoon Broadway host on SiriusXM radio. NYC credits include Sheldon in the Roundabout's revival of The Ritz and starring opposite Sutton Foster in the Actors Fund benefit performance of They're Playing Our Song. He has three Emmy nominations for his work as a comedy writer on "The Rosie O'Donnell Show" and Random House just published his recent comedic fiction book "The Rise And Fall Of A Theater Geek". As a musician, he's played piano for 15 Broadway shows and does concerts across the country with stars like Audra McDonald, Patti LuPone and Vanessa Williams.

JENNIFER SIMARD (Sister Mary Downy) is a four time Drama Desk and two time Drama League nominee who is pleased to reprise her nominated performance as Sr. Mary Downy on Broadway! JACK PLOTNICK (Co-Writer; Director) has a BFA in musical theater from Carnegie-Mellon and directed the Off-Broadway production of Disaster! He co-wrote and directed the Sony Pictures feature film Space Station 76. He produced, directed and acted on the Lifetime TV series Lovespring International. Jack executive produced and starred in the award-winning feature film Girls Will Be Girls.
