After 16 seasons with Disney On Classic (DOC), Brad Kelley is turning over his baton to its next music director while he begins a new music venture. I was fortunate to work with Brad last year in DOC Tokyo, and learned so much from this maestro!  

Jacob's Pillow announces the full season lineup of Festival 2019 including world premieres, new commissions, international artists, anniversary celebrations, Pillow-exclusive engagements, and work developed at the Pillow Lab. Entering its 87th consecutive summer, Jacob's Pillow is home to the longest-running dance festival in the United States, a National Historic Landmark, a National Medal of Arts recipient, and has steadily expanded its reach in the field and its local community as a year-round center for dance research and development. Festival 2019 opens June 19, attracting audiences both on and off its site in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts, through August 25.

Segerstrom Center for the Arts presents the Kenny Barron Quintet for two performances on November 3, 2018 at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Named a National Endowment for the Arts Jazz Master, the Los Angeles Times calls Barron "one of the top jazz pianists in the world" and Jazz Weekly calls him "The most lyrical piano player of our time." Orchestra of St. Luke's (OSL) today announced a new initiative, a three-week, multi-disciplinary Bach Festival featuring 15 concerts across three venues in Manhattan, June 6-22, 2019. The programmatic centerpieces include performances by Paul Taylor Dance Company and the Goldberg Variations, which receives two interpretations - including the U.S. premiere of Bernard Labadie's orchestral setting - and provides the Festival theme: 'Transformation.'

Nederlands Dans Theater 2 will present the U.S. premiere of Marco Goecke's Midnight Raga at New York City Center's 2018 Fall for Dance Festival on October 5 & 6 at 8 pm. Midnight Raga, (2017), set to Indian music by Ravi Shankar, is a duet performed by Surimi Fukushi and Adam Russell Jones.

NYU Skirball will present two marathon performances of Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company's acclaimed Analogy Trilogy, on September 22 and 23 at 3:00 pm. This is a rare opportunity to see the three parts of the trilogy performed as a whole and features the NYC premiere of Ambros: The Emigrant, the work's final piece. The complete trilogy will run 6½ hours (including a 90-minute dinner break) and is made up of Dora: Tramontane, Lance: Pretty aka the Escape Artist and Ambros: The Emigrant (NYC premiere).

Bringing together some of today's most remarkable ballet talents, Daniel Ulbricht's Stars of American Ballet returns to Jacob's Pillow, appearing in the Ted Shawn Theatre August 22-26. A principal dancer with New York City Ballet since 2007, Ulbricht is lauded as "one of the best male ballet dancers in New York" (Dance Magazine). As Artistic Director, curator, and performer, Ulbricht brings a unique vision and perspective to performance. Daniel Schumann, Lee Dean and Cambridge Arts Theatre in association with Birmingham Repertory Theatre today announce John Stahl (Big Ger Cafferty) and Cathy Tyson (Siobhan Clarke) will join Charles Lawson (John Rebus) in Rebus: Long Shadows, a brand new Rebus story written exclusively for the stage by author of the original novels, Ian Rankin and playwright Rona Munro.
