Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum revs up Labor Day this summer by partnering with Harley-Davidson for its 115 th Anniversary Celebration. Held in Milwaukee from Wednesday, August 29 to Sunday, September 2, the festival includes five full days of festivities and plays host to an exclusive mobile museum featuring the outside-the-lines work of biker and tattoo artist Norman "Sailor Jerry" Collins, the American-made rum's namesake. Spike TV's "Ink Master" star Oliver Peck will be onsite during the festival, giving a limited number of free Sailor Jerry flash art tattoos to lucky attendees, the art selected at random from his famous gumball machine. The event will also feature select bikes from the Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum and Harley-Davidson's joint "My Work Speaks for Itself" design contest, with winners from across the nation showcasing their Norman Collins' inspired designs on 2018 Street Bobs. Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum's presence at the festival salutes the father of American tattooing's legacy by spotlighting his iconic work and the link shared between these two true legends of Americana culture.

Berkshire Theatre Group presents Emmy Award-winner Lee Kalcheim's (All in the Family) World Premiere, Coming Back Like a Song!, a play about Irving Berlin, Harold Arlen and Jimmy Van Heusen. Andrade Events and Ottoman, Ltd. are proud to announce the North American premiere ofGRAND GUIGNOL, a horror play by Carl Grose, inspired by the Theatre du Grand Guignol and naturalistic horror stage shows that were all the rage in London and Paris in the early 20th century. Directed by Mitchell Altieri, GRAND GUIGNOL will play at Z Space (450 Florida Street, San Francisco) Wednesday, October 30 through Sunday, November 3, 2013. Rife with madness and murders, maiming and mutilation including jaw-dropping special effects and a dose of humor and satire - GRAND GUIGNOL creates the perfect Halloween experience - complete with food and drink - for a bloody good time. Scenery is designed by Charlie Smith, costumes by Thomas Marquez, lighting by Pamela Z. Gray and hair and make-up by Shae Smoot. Spanning numerous musical traditions, genres, and disciplines, the Festival will offer 23 performances, films, and events featuring seven premieres and debuts by artists and companies from more than a dozen countries, including France, India, the Netherlands, Spain, Germany, the U.K., Mali, Estonia, Italy, Austria, Canada and the U.S. New to this edition of the Festival is White Light on Film, film screenings followed by discussions with their directors. Other Festival components include: a panel discussion focused on the subject of time, pre- and post-performance artist discussions, and the popular post-performance White Light Lounges.

Once in a generation, if we are lucky, an extraordinary talent like no other arises - one who can ceaselessly, effortlessly caress the loftiest heights of comedy and drama onstage (and sometimes onscreen), while, simultaneously, imbuing musical theatre roles with the same skill set, plus a powerhouse, quintessentially unique and resplendent vocal instrument; and, of course, that indescribable 'it' factor, too - such is the tale of Broadway's grand dame, Patti LuPone. Spanish conductor Rafael Fruhbeck de Burgos returns to the New York Philharmonic to conduct music from two secular cantatas: selections from Falla's Atlantida, and Orff's complete Carmina burana - which the Orchestra has not performed since 1995 - tonight, May 31, 2012, at 7:30 p.m., Friday, June 1, at 8:00 p.m., and Saturday, June 2, at 8:00 p.m. The international cast that Mr. Fru?hbeck has assembled for these performances features American soprano Erin Morley, American tenor Nicholas Phan (in his Philharmonic debut), South African baritone Jacques Imbrailo (debut), the Spanish chorus Orpheo?n Pamplone?s, Igor Ijurra Ferna?ndez, director (debut), and the Brooklyn Youth Chorus, Dianne Berkun, director.
