Ensemble Theatre presents ANTIGONE (BORN AGAINST.) at Know Theatre

Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati (ETC) is moving beyond the walls of its intimate theatre to stage a special presentation of the Greek tragedy Antigone for three performances only on May 17, 18, and 19 at 8:00 pm. Translated and adapted by 2016-2017 ETC Acting Apprentice Griff Bludworth, and directed by Ben Raanan, ANTIGONE (born against.) is a modern retelling of the defiant heroine. Due to the renovations of ETC's stage now underway, performances of this contemporized Greek story will be held at Know Theatre of Cincinnati and will feature ETC's 2016-2017 Professional Acting Apprentice Company. CK Productions' latest, Tony nominee You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown is a really cute production. Based on the characters created by Charles M. Schulz in his iconic comic strip Peanuts, this fun musical, created by Clark Gesner, was actually originally done in 1967. This incarnation, however, is a replication of the 1999 revival. (more...)

Cast Complete, Rehearsals Underway for Broadway's SIX DEGREES OF SEPARATION

Rehearsals began this week for the revival of John Guare's critically acclaimed play Six Degrees of Separation starring seven-time Emmy Award winner Allison Janney ('Mom,' The Girl on the Train) as Ouisa, Tony Award winner John Benjamin Hickey (The Normal Heart, 'Manhattan') as Flan and Corey Hawkins (Straight Outta Compton, '24: Legacy') as Paul. Directed by Trip Cullman (Significant Other, Yen), Six Degrees of Separation will begin previews Wednesday, April 5 prior to the official opening on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at the Barrymore Theatre. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, we were unable to raise ourselves up from the bed and make our way to our desk in order to start writing. After a particularly challenging weekend, we were a bit under the weather and, truth be told, exhausted. We offer our abject apologies and request your indulgences, although we were just as disappointed as we hope you were because we were unable to live life dramatically with any sense of style on Monday. Worst First Kiss Productions is proud to announce a two-week extension of its critically acclaimed production of Dog Sees God, following a sold-out run at the Hollywood Fringe Festival. The production, directed by Jonah Platt, will perform 4 additional performances at The Blank Theater in Hollywood on Saturday July 15th at 2pm & 5pm, Sunday July 16th at 6 pm, and Sunday July 23rd 6pm. There will also be a special Encore performance on Saturday July 22nd at 2 pm as part of the Fringe Encores Awards, which represent the best of the Hollywood Fringe as selected by venue producers, based on artistic merit and commercial potential. DOG SEES GOD Brings Back Message of Diversity

Dog Sees God, a play written by Bert V. Royal, will receive its New York revival by SOMETHING FROM ABROAD THEATRE COMPANY at the Under St Marks Theatre. The show follows a high school student named CB as he begins to question the existence of an afterlife after his dog dies.
