American Stage continues its 2017-18 Season 'WE THE PEOPLE' with the original romantic comedy, MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING by William Shakespeare and directed by Benjamin T. Ismail.

For one night only, the biggest and brightest names on Broadway will light the stage in an all-star benefit concert, Broadway: A Jewish American Legacy, December 18, 2017, at 7pm, at the Museum of Jewish Heritage (36 Battery Place, NY, NY).

Comedian, storyteller and hoop-dancer Mimi Fischer (The Chris Gethard Show, Broad City) is 64 years young and all about comedy, improv and hoop dance. She announces her first solo show, A Late Bloomer, with SoloCom, the Peoples Improv Theater's annual solo show festival. The show's title is a nod to her starting her career in comedy at an age that most think should relegate her to knitting but she doesn't do that.
