Asolo Rep's Education & Outreach department proudly presents Kaleidoscope: Heartbeats on Monday, May 22, 2017 at 6pm in the Mertz Theatre, on the set of Asolo Rep's world premiere of BEATSVILLE: The Beatnik Musical. The performance is the culmination of this season's Kaleidoscope, an award-winning annual program founded by Broadway veteran Ann Morrison in 1995, which serves individuals with disabilities from local community organizations and schools to discover creative and personal expression through theatre. Ms. Morrison also plays Mrs. Zwicker and Mrs. Greenberg in Asolo Rep's current production of BEATSVILLE.

Following on from his success with Daytona at the Theatre Royal, Haymarket Oliver Cotton, has written a new play for our time, Dessert. Directed by Trevor Nunn the world premiere of this powerful, thought-provoking play about wealth, greed and the lengths to which people will go to claim what's theirs, runs at Southwark Playhouse from 12 July.

Shakespeare Festival St. Louis' production of The Winter's Tale opens at 8 p.m., on Fri., June 2, at Shakespeare Glen in Forest Park. Highlights to this year's production include original music composed by St. Louis-based The Rats & People Motion Picture Orchestra, a diverse cast under the direction of four-time Festival director Bruce Longworth, and the unveiling of Schlafly's custom-labeled draft beer, The Winter's Ale. JOSEFINA LOPEZ, the award-winning playwright and screenwriter, the creator of the pop culture play and film, Real Women Have Curves, and the Founding Artistic Director of CASA 0101 Theater is about to give birth to yet another artistic milestone in her career, that of Restaurateur.  That's right!  Although primarily universally known as a writer, Josefina Lopez is also a Culinary Chef who graduated with a Supreme Diploma from the renowned Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, France.  She has also attended the New School of Cooking in Culver City where she studied cuisine with a California touch and making pastries, as well as the Gourmandise Cooking School in Santa Monica, where she studied chocolate making, bread making, pasta making and pastries.

Everyman Theatre's Resident Company of actors transforms into a British company of actors during the 1970s in this hotly anticipated revival of Tony Award-Winner Michael Frayn's side-splitting farce to end all farces, Noises Off, directed by Founding Artistic Director Vincent M.
