Mary J. Davis will present DISASTER! written by Seth Rudetsky and Jack Plotnick, at St. Luke's Theatre starting on October 14, opening Monday, November 4. DISASTER! is a musical based on 1970's disaster movies with a score consisting of 1970's pop, rock and disco hit songs. Directed by Jack Plotnick, choreographed by Denis Jones and music direction by Larry Pressgrove. Disaster! previously ran in 2012.

Olivier-award nominee Matthew Dunster directs Kathryn Prescott (Channel 4's Skins) in her stage debut with Cian Barry (Our Boys, The Member of the Wedding), Daniel Stewart (Written on the Heart) and Rocky Marshall (Headlong's Faustus, Mean Machine) alongside 16-strong cast in the first major revival in over 30 years of The Love Girl and the Innocent at Southwark Playhous in October.

59E59 Theaters welcomes The Active Theater with the NYC premiere of TWO POINT OH, written by Jeffrey Jackson and directed by Michael Unger. TWO POINT OH begins performances on Thursday, October 3 for a limited engagement through Sunday, October 20.

JUSTJONES& The Albany present the world premiere and national tour of an award-winning new adaptation of AN ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE, adapted and directed from Henrik Ibsen by Rebecca Manson Jones and designed by Jens Demant Cole. Producers of THE ADDAMS FAMILY announced additional dates today for the Fall 2012 leg of the musical's North American tour. The production will play Dallas (Oct. 2 - 21), Seattle (Oct. 24 - Nov. 11), Salt Lake City (Nov. 13 - 18), Las Vegas (Nov.20 - 25), Tempe (Dec. 11 - 16) and Costa Mesa (Dec. 18 - 30). Plus, Curtis Holbrook (West Side Story, Xanadu) will join the cast of the national tour as "Lucas Beineke."

MCC Theater has announced the complete cast for the newly reworked and fully re-imagined production of Carrie, the musical. Carrie features music by Michael Gore, lyrics by Dean Pitchford (Academy Award winning composer and lyricist for the original film Fame) and a book by Lawrence D. Cohen (who also adapted the 1974 novel by Stephen King for the 1976 Brian DePalma film). Directed by Stafford Arima, performances for Carrie begin January 31, 2012, at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, NYC). The official opening night is set for March 1, 2012.

As BroadwayWorld.com first reported this weekend, FOLLIES star Jan Maxwell was hit by a minivan while crossing 45th Street following the Saturday, October 29 matinee. The star suffered injuries to her arm and leg. She was unable to perform on Saturday night and was also be out at the Sunday matinee to stay home and recuperate. Her understudy, Colleen Fitzpatrick, went on in her absence this weekend. BroadwayWorld has just confirmed with a spokesperson for the show that Maxwell is back and better, and will resume performances tonight, November 1.
