Via Brooklyn and The Southampton Inn are proud to present the first ever VB Reads: Feast and Fiction, a play reading series. VB Reads will present Monica: This Play Is Not About Monica Lewinsky by Dianne Nora on Saturday, July 14th at 9pm and Collected Stories by Donald Margulies on Tuesday, July 17th at 8pm. This two-night event will be hosted by The Southampton Inn at their in-house restaurant, Claude's at 91 Hill Street, Southampton, NY 11968. The event will feature a special prix fixe menu option, titled The Full Feast, as well as a drink and dessert option, titled Sips and Sweets, to be served as you enjoy the staged reading. Center Stage Jackson is excited to announce the BBQ Cook-Off for Sound Fundraiser, to be held July 21st, 2018 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at 308 Brass Rail in Jackson (308 Prospect, Jackson MI 49203). Local businesses and organizations will be cooking up their best barbecue and sides for the public to judge. Proceeds from this fundraiser will be used to purchase new microphones and audio equipment for Center Stage Jackson.

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey continues its 56th season with its second Main Stage production, Titus Andronicus. Resident Director Brian B. Crowe will helm this rarely produced Shakespearean tragedy. STNJ veteran Bruce Cromer will play the title role; Tony Award nominee Robert Cuccioli and returning company members Vanessa Morosco and Benjamin Eakeley will play leading roles amongst a cast of 20 actors that also includes young artists from the Theatre's renowned Summer Professional Training Program.

The Atlanta Pride Committee and The LGBT Institute at The National Center for Civil and Human Rights are proud to partner with the Fox Theatre to celebrate the 29th anniversary of the legendary Stonewall Riots, which became a watershed moment for the LGBTQ civil and human rights movement in America. This first-of-its kind event in Atlanta features a comedy show with Wanda Sykes and Tig Notaro at the Fox Theatre today, June 20 at 8 p.m. The celebration continues with a drag show and performance by the legendary rock band Blondie on Friday, June 22 at 8 p.m. at the Fox Theatre. Local LGBTQ advocate and activist Feroza Syed will serve as the emcee for both events.

CRT welcomes the co-writing team of the show, as Jack Plotnick will direct and three-time Emmy Award nominee and SiriusXM Broadway host Seth Rudetsky will reprise the role he originated on Broadway (Ted Schneider). Portland Opera is pleased to announce programming for the company's 55th season, scheduled to begin in November 2018. The season will launch with the recently announced "November classic" - Verdi's heartbreaking romance La Traviata - bringing opera back to Portland in the fall months. In March, Portland Opera will present Laura Kaminsky's brave and beautiful coming-of-age story, As One, where two voices, a mezzo-soprano and a baritone, share the role of the transgender heroine Hannah. The season will continue in the spring with the company's annual Big Night concert and a bright and vibrant production of Rossini's great Il Barbiere di Siviglia. In July, the company will present Mozart's La Finta Giardiniera for the first time, followed by the company premiere of Philip Glass's exploration of the nature of justice, In the Penal Colony, based on Franz Kafka's short story.

Global content leader Lionsgate (NYSE: LGF.A, LGF.B) has named media industry executive Corii Berg, a 20-year Sony Pictures veteran, to be General Counsel, the Company announced today. Berg will be the Company's senior legal and business affairs executive and serve on its Executive Management Committee and senior decision-making team. He will report to Lionsgate Chief Executive Officer Jon Feltheimer and will work closely with Vice Chairman Michael Burns, Lionsgate COO Brian Goldsmith and Lionsgate CFO Jimmy Barge. The New York Philharmonic announces Foreign Bodies, a one-night-only multidisciplinary event conducted and hosted by Esa-Pekka Salonen, concluding his tenure as The Marie-Jos e Kravis Composer-in-Residence. The concert, Friday, June 8, 2018, at 8:00 p.m., will feature Esa-Pekka Salonen's Foreign Bodies, accompanied by the World Premiere of a live video installation by Tal Rosner; Dan el Bjarnason's Violin Concerto, with Pekka Kuusisto in his New York Philharmonic debut; and Obsidian Tear, a dance work choreographed by Wayne McGregor performed by members of the Boston Ballet (Philharmonic debut) and set to Mr. Salonen's Nyx and Lachen verlernt. Foreign Bodies will be casual and multi-sensory; drinks and conversation will flow as attendees mingle with the performers, who will give additional impromptu performances throughout the event.

The Fox Theatre proudly announces the Marquee Club Presented by Lexus opened to the public on Saturday, May 19, 2018 in conjunction with "Live From Here with Chris Thile" show held at the Fox Theatre. This $10 million expansion marks the largest one-time revitalization effort of the Fox Theatre since its 1929 grand opening, as the Marquee Club footprint includes the northwest corner of the building that was previously leased retail space.

As part of the global Make Music Day happening Thursday, June 21, NAMM's Museum of Making Music will offer a full day of music-making opportunities while hosting the Earth Harp, the world's longest playable stringed instrument, that will reach from the balcony of the Museum to its parking lot. The harp will be played live by an ensemble of musicians led by William Close, the LA-based inventor who tours the globe with his instrument, which has been seen in Singapore, at Burning Man, and even strung across a canyon near Chicago.
