The first and longest running Asian interest film festival in the country, AAIFF42 will be presenting 12 narrative features, 9 documentary features, and 67 short films, from 19 countries.

Award-winning Pantochino Productions Inc., Milford's professional not-for-profit theatre for family audiences, has announced its 2019-20 season which includes a new musical based on the legend and lore of local landmark Charles Island. The company will continue its partnership with the Milford Arts Council with all performances at the MAC in Downtown Milford.

Back by popular demand, the acclaimed revival of James McLure's comedy LONE STAR opens Friday, June 7th at the 13th Street Repertory Theatre (50 W 13th St- between Fifth and Sixth Avenues) for eight performances only including June 8th, June 13th, June 14th and June 15th at 7:30 pm with matinees on June 9th and June 16th at 3:00 pm. The play, which received audience and critical acclaim from its 2017 production highlights rising star Matt de Rogatis as the lead and features the all female band The Chalks with Broadway actor Leenya Rideout.

Bumbershoot Music and Arts Festival is excited to announce its official 2019 lineup. Taking place over Labor Day weekend, Friday Aug. 30 through Sunday Sept. 1, the 49th annual Bumbershoot will feature a wide-ranging list of performers including music headliners The Lumineers, Tyler the Creator, REZZ, and Louis the Child. Additional musical acts include H.E.R., ***** (Artist To Be Announced), Jai Wolf, LP, Taking Back Sunday, Hippie Sabotage, Carly Rae Jepsen, Alina Baraz, Summer Walker, Clairo, Bob Moses, Rival Sons, among others. More than 100 additional performances from multiple art disciplines will be present throughout the weekend on more than a dozen indoor and outdoor locations spread throughout the 74-acre festival grounds.

The production will mark the company's return to Edinburgh following its The Scotsman Fringe First Award and The Stage Edinburgh Award winning, smash-hit production Education, Education, Education, which will have its West End debut at Trafalgar Studios this summer, and The Stage Award winning 1972: The Future of Sex. Created as part of the Royal & Derngate's Resident Ensemble programme and developed in partnership with Complicite, The Last of the Pelican Daughters will preview at Royal & Derngate's Royal stage on Thursday 25 and Friday 26 July, before playing at Pleasance Beyond 31 July - 25 Aug 2019.
