A phenomenon was born in 1935 that is still going strong today! Harris Center for the Arts is proud to present this legendary orchestra.

BUDDY - THE BUDDY HOLLY STORY will be performed at the Harris Center on Monday, March 9, 2015 at 7:30 pm and Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 2 & 7:30 pm.

Lyric Opera of Chicago announced casting for the remaining principal roles in its new production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Carousel. Matthew Hydzik will portray Enoch Snow alongside Tony Award winner Jarrod Emick as Jigger Craigin, two-time Tony Award nominee Charlotte d'Amboise as Mrs. Mullin, and two-time Tony Award nominee Tony Roberts as the Starkeeper. Carousel will run April 10 to May 3 at the Civic Opera House (opening night April 11).

Travel back in time when the musical Buddy -- The Buddy Holly Story comes to the Jones Hall stage for three performances, presented by Society for the Performing Arts. Performances will be at 8 p.m., tonight, Feb. 6; and 2 and 8 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 7.

According to his official website, stage and screen star Rene Auberjonois will make his musical return in ENTER LAUGHING- THE MUSICAL, playing at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts February 10 - March 1, 2015.
