On September 23, 2009, the world was captivated as four men in a helicopter broke through the roof of a highly secure cash depot in Sweden and flew off with millions in stolen cash. Based on his extensive interviews with the robbers – who up until now have refused to speak publicly – Jonas Bonnier's THE HELICOPTER HEIST (May 28, 2019; Other Press Paperback Original; ISBN: 978-159051-950-9; translated by Alice Menzies) is a delightful, ripped-from-reality novelization of one of the biggest heists in Swedish history.

What do you do after suffering a debilitating stroke? Write a one-woman show, of course! On December 20, character actress Farley Cadena suffered an ischemic stroke, which left her unable to speak clearly, sing, or read. But she fought back, with this self-penned show helping in her rehabilitation. Cadena includes a number of familiar as well as obscure Broadway songs - with lyrics occasionally tweaked - to help illustrate her dilemma. The result is a moving, frightening, and also hilarious show about resilience and strength of character.

I got a relatively late start into acting: other than a few shows during elementary school, I didn't start acting until my senior year of high school. When I went into that audition room, I was up against people who had been acting for all of high school; even a few who had been acting their whole lives.
