After having worked together for over 7 years, Stuart Thompson and David Turner are forming a new general management company, Thompson Turner Productions, which will have King Charles III as its first Broadway credit and will continue to be a general management company for Broadway and touring shows. Thompson will continue to produce under the umbrella of Stuart Thompson Productions.

Casting for American Ballet Theatre's The Nutcracker, co-presented by Segerstrom Center for the Arts and ABT, was announced today by Kevin McKenzie, ABT Artistic Director. On June 15, 1975 at Vogel Hall in the (then) Performing Arts Center in downtown Milwaukee a new theatre company took to the stage to offer its first performance and Milwaukee Chamber Theatre was born. The production was George Bernard Shaw's DON JUAN IN HELL and it featured Robert Ingham as Don Juan, William McKereghan as the Devil, Ruth Schudson as Dona Ana and Montgomery Davis as the Statue.

The Chicago Dancemakers Forum (CDF) is delighted to announce today the four recipients of its 2015 CDF Lab Artist Awards. Each Chicago-based artist will receive $15,000 as well as 12 months of mentorship and peer support. Choreographers Baraka de Soleil, Jamal "Litebulb" Oliver, Benjamin Holiday Wardell, and Sara Zalek were selected by an esteemed panel comprised of local and national dance leaders, artists, scholars and arts administrators, following a rigorous, two-round application process. Each grantee was identified as being within a key moment in their artistic development, demonstrated a clear vision, a solid body of work, a compelling line of inquiry, and a firmly grounded work ethic.
