Great Lakes Theater (GLT), Cleveland's Classic Company, commences the second half its 2014-15 season with Ira Levin's murder mystery masterpiece, Deathtrap. The production will be performed in the company's intimate and audience-friendly home at the Hanna Theatre, PlayhouseSquare, today, February 21 - March 16, 2014. Charles Fee, GLT's Producing Artistic Director, directs the production.

BLITHE SPIRIT, one of No'l Coward's most celebrated comedies, continues Moonlight Stage Productions' 2014 Winter Season at the AVO Playhouse with performances from tonight, February 20 to March 9.

The American Theatre Wing has announced that its annual Gala, to be held on Monday, September 15 at The Plaza Hotel (Fifth Avenue at Central Park South), will honor Dame Angela Lansbury, who has served as Honorary Chairman of the American Theatre Wing Board of Trustees since 2010. CeCe Black, Anki Leeds, and Sir Howard Stringer will serve as Gala co-chairs.

Katie Thompson, star of last season's GIANT, and Bill Connington, star of the upcoming indy feature film ZOMBIE, joined forces for the first time in a glittering evening in the white and gold-gilded ballroom of a private Eastside club, that served as the backdrop to the reading of PRIVATE LIVES by theatrical legend Noel Coward. The Lyric Stage Company of Boston presents DEATH OF A SALESMAN, running tonight, February 14 - March 15, 2014. The play, by Arthur Miller, will be directed by Spiro Veloudos.

Peter Polycarpou, Gary Wilmot and Colin Stinton join the cast of the West End transfer of Chichester Festival Theatre's sparkling production of the Broadway smash hit musical, The Pajama Game, directed by Richard Eyre. Peter Polycarpou and Colin Stinton reprise their roles as Vernon Hines and Hasler, with Gary Wilmot taking over the role of Vernon Hines from 2 June. They join the previously announced Joanna Riding and Michael Xavier. The Pajama Game opens at the Shaftesbury Theatre on 13 May, with previews from 2 May, playing until 13 September 2014.

Arden Theatre Company presents the world premiere of a new translation of Three Sisters by Anton Chekhov, translated by Curt Columbus, directed by Terrence J. Nolen. The production appears on the Arden's F. Otto Haas Stage from March 20 through April 20, 2014 at 40 N. 2nd Street in Philadelphia.

Real-life mother and son Tony and Emmy Award nominee Kate Burton (The Corn is Green, The Cherry Orchard, Hedda Gabler at the Huntington) and Morgan Ritchie (The Corn is Green) will play mother and son onstage together for the first time when they return to the Huntington Theatre Company for a lush new production of Anton Chekhov's passionate classic The Seagull. Huntington favorite Maria Aitken (The Cocktail Hour, Betrayal) will direct the Paul Schmidt translation of the classic of world drama about love, missed connections, and what it means to be an artist. Performances of The Seagull begin at the Avenue of the Arts / BU Theatre on March 7, 2014.

Following a critically acclaimed and sell-out run at the Finborough Theatre, the first production in sixty years of R. C. Sherriff's supernatural drama, The White Carnation transfers for a limited three week run to Jermyn Street Theatre, opening tonight, 4 February 2014 (Press Night: Thursday, 6 February 2014 at 7.30pm). The show stars Michael Praed (Design for Living - West End, Robin of Sherwood, Dynasty) who joins the existing superlative Finborough Theatre cast, which includes acclaimed newcomer Daisy Boulton and Benjamin Whitrow (Mr. Bennet in BBC's Pride and Prejudice).

Directed by the theatre's Artistic Director Richard Rose, Tarragon continues its tradition of presenting English premieres of Quebec plays with a translation by Linda Gaboriau. Both a little bit ominous and a little bit magical, this imaginative and surprising take on married life, love and identity opens tonight, January 15 and runs to February 16 (with previews from January 7) in Tarragon's Mainspace.
