Victory Gardens Theater introduces Public Programs to Envision Justice through the Lens of Theater, a new initiative made possible by a grant from The David Rockefeller Fund. Public Programs is an event series designed to enhance audience experience by exploring themes and issues within Victory Gardens' productions by provoking dialogue and deepening the relationship between audiences and the plays. Public Programs to Envision Justice takes Victory Gardens one step further by building a stream of citizen engagement programs that will contextualize the plays in relation to the issues surrounding criminal justice and lead audiences to understanding their role in affecting change.

During their John Guare Festival and the World Premiere of Guare's epic Lydie Breeze Trilogy, EgoPo Classic Theater is collaborating with Drexel University's Performing Arts Department for an evening symposium, Future of American Playwriting, Saturday, February 3 at 4 p.m. The panel will feature John Guare and local playwrights Jacqueline Goldfinger, Bruce Graham, and James Ijames. The panel is moderated by Broad Street Review Editor in Chief Wendy Rosenfield. The symposium will be held in the Stein Auditorium in Nesbitt Hall at Drexel University, 3215 Market Street. The artistic team behind independent theater company, Pullman.vs.Paxton Productions, proudly announces their upcoming staging of Heathers The Musical (based on the 1988 cult classic film by Daniel Waters). From April 6-15, PVP is turning the Erickson Theatre Off-Broadway into the 1980s technicolor battleground of Westerburg High School, all in support of Dan Savage and Terry Miller's It Gets Better Project.

New York Film Critics Series (NYFCS) in a special partnership with New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) will present a unique movie experience celebrating the 40th Anniversary of National Lampoon's Animal House on Friday February 16th, 2018 at 8pm.
