Anonymous Man is Michael Gordon's first concert-length solo choral work. It was commissioned by The Crossing and written for the choir's 24 voices. Gordon merges subtle rhythmic invention with incredible power in his music, embodying, in the words of The New Yorker's Alex Ross, 'the fury of punk rock, the nervous brilliance of free jazz and the intransigence of classical modernism.'

Watch as love unfolds in the bold musical Aida from Sirs Elton John and Tim Rice. The Moonlight premiere of Aida opens the 37th season of Moonlight Stage Productions from June 14-July 1, 2017. As their forbidden love blossoms, Aida is forced to weigh her heart against the responsibility she faces as leader of her people. The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University under the leadership of Artistic Director Diane Paulus and Executive Director Diane Quinn, will present Arrabal, with a book written by John Weidman, music by Gustavo Santaolalla / Bajofondo, choreographed by Julio Zurita, and directed and co-choreographed by Sergio Trujillo.

The Robert and Margrit Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts, UC Davis announces its 16th season of performing arts, filled with the leading artists in music, dance, theater and speakers. The season begins on September 22, 2017 with the Mondavi Center debut of Los Tigres Del Norte and concludes May 24, 2018 with the return of the San Francisco Symphony. The season also features the debut performance of The Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra led by Keith Lockhart, on April 19, 2018.

George Wein and James Moody, both legendary pioneers of jazz, are the inspirations for a pair of performance-driven programs created at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) to nurture the next generation of jazz talents.

This spring, Joe's Pub at The Public welcomes a lineup of singer-songwriters that redefine the traditional conventions of the title. A Joe's Pub favorite, Lady Rizo is a cabaret star with songwriter chops, who will debut a new show, Red, White & Indigo, all about her love-hate relationship with America, and tease her forthcoming album Indigo from March 23-25.

Bill Kenwright presents the highly anticipated first ever UK tour of the Tony and Olivier award winning LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, which opens at New Oxford Theatre on Thursday 5th January.

Jazz Women of New York is a new all-woman band conceived by vocalist Lee Torchia.  The core group is pianist Jill McManus, bassist Melissa Slocum, drummer Sylvia Cuenca, flutist Andrea Brachfeld, and saxophonist Carol Sudhalter, with occasional subs from the female side of NY jazz.
