The Public Theater (Artistic Director, Oskar Eustis; Executive Director, Patrick Willingham) announced a two week extension today for the world premiere musical HERE LIES LOVE, with concept and lyrics by David Byrne, music by David Byrne and Fatboy Slim, additional music by Tom Gandey and J Pardo, and choreography by Annie-B Parson. Directed by Alex Timbers, HERE LIES LOVE begins performances on Tuesday, April 2 and was originally scheduled to close on Sunday, May 5. It will now run an additional two weeks through Sunday, May 19.

Triple threat actress/singer/dancer Betty Hutton is perhaps one of the greatest yet lesser known musical film stars of the 40s and 50s. Star of Annie Get Your Gun and The Greatest Show on Earth, Hutton possessed a uniquely energetic style that can be most realistically described as 'manic'. It seems that she was in constant motion, never stopping for an instant and propelling her musical numbers through her electric singing and dancing to new heights of excitement. Diane Vincent was so taken by Robert Osborne's 2000 interview with Hutton on TCM (Turner Classic Movies) that she knew she had to research and put together a show to celebrate the lady's immeasurable talent. And here it is, some 13 years later, the world premiere of Nuttin' But Hutton, a revue in two acts with music both familiar and unfamiliar from all of Hutton's films.

Paper Mill Playhouse has announced the cast for Thoroughly Modern Millie, winner of the 2002 Drama Desk and Tony Award for Best Musical. This effervescent musical romp will feature Ashley Kate Adams (Miss Dorothy Brown), Brenda Braxton (Muzzy Van Hossmere), Billy Bustamante (Bun Foo), Jeff Kready (Jimmy Smith), Burke Moses (Mr. Trevor Graydon), Lenora Nemetz (Mrs. Meers), James Seol (Ching Ho), Jessica Sheridan (Miss Flannery) and Laurie Veldheer (Millie Dillmount). Thoroughly Modern Millie will be directed by Paper Mill Playhouse Producing Artistic Director Mark S. Hoebee with choreography by Denis Jones. Thoroughly Modern Millie will run at the Millburn, New Jersey, theater from April 10 through May 5, 2013. The official press opening is Sunday, April 14, at 7:00pm.

But, tonight's Glee celebrates the magic of music from the movies - how songs can turn a simple moment be it happy or sad into magic. Join us as Glee celebrates the movies, and their 500th musical number. As Daddy Warbucks said in Annie - 'Let's go to the movies'. Will dreams of a Fred-Ginger number between himself and Emma ('You're All The World To Me') and proposes the idea of a movie/mash up theme to the glee club along with the annual boys vs girls competition. Finn attempts to help Will find Emma, but Will is more focused on spending time with good movies than focusing on his runaway bride. After checking in with Sue, which results in no help whatsoever, Finn teams with Artie for some tips on how to find Emma, thus prompting Finn to go check out Emma's parents. Brittany and Blaine propose a non-competition number, and kicks off Movie week with 'Shout' from Animal House.

Delaware Theatre Company has announced the cast of Daryl Roth's presentation of LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE, coming to the DTC stage this month.

Arizona Theatre Company (ATC) brings Neil Simon's comic masterpiece about show business, friendship and growing old, 'The Sunshine Boys' to Arizona audiences. David Ira Goldstein directs one of Neil Simon's most beloved and acclaimed plays in ATC's new production that will premiere in Tucson for three weeks of performances and continue to Phoenix for an additional three weeks. ATC's 'The Sunshine Boys' opens at the Temple of Music and Art, running from tonight, March 2, 2013 through March 23, 2013. It continues its run in Phoenix at the Herberger Theater Center from March 28, 2013 through April 14, 2013.

Broadway director and choreographer Jeff Calhoun will soon award the Jeff Calhoun Performing Arts Award to a senior at Pine-Richland High School. This is the sixth year that Calhoun, a 1978 graduate, will award a $5000 scholarship to a student who is planning to pursue a career in the performing arts and meets the scholarship criteria. Applications for this scholarship are due April 19, 2013.

Goodspeed Musicals kicks off its 50th Anniversary Season with a new production of the classic musical Good News!. This high spirited musical comedy will run from April 12 - June 22 at the Goodspeed Opera House in East Haddam, Conn. Good News! will be sponsored by Liberty Bank and Updike, Kelley & Spellacy. The first national tour of Priscilla Queen of the Desert The Musical is coming to Philadelphia at the Academy of Music from tonight, February 26 through March 3. Part of the Broadway Season presented by the Kimmel Center and the Shubert Organization, the press opening is scheduled for Tues. Feb. 26 at 7:30 pm.
