Cabrillo Music Theatre celebrates its 20th Anniversary in the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza by proudly announcing its 2013-2014 Season of shows, produced exclusively in the Kavli Theatre, at the Bank of America Performing Arts Center at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza. The 2013-2014 Season, entitled "Moving Forward, Looking Back," is Cabrillo's most sizzling season ever. With a combination of classic and contemporary musicals, premieres and returning favorites, every show is gonna burn up the Kavli stage in a season that is just TOO DARN HOT! All of Cabrillo's productions are locally produced, auditioned and rehearsed in Southern California, and performed exclusively in the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza.

The Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza opened its doors in 1994, and the first production was a Cabrillo Music Theatre production of THE MUSIC MAN. Since then, Cabrillo has produced a whopping 66 musicals, all locally created and presented for its' loyal audiences. That first production, THE MUSIC MAN, saw audiences introduced to a young Amanda Bynes as Amaryllis. Since then, many other artists have graced the Cabrillo stage on their way to success, including Adam Lambert (THE SECRET GARDEN), Katharine McPhee (ANNIE GET YOUR GUN), Stephanie J. Block (FUNNY GIRL, SOUTH PACIFIC, currently starring in Broadway's DROOD), and many, many more. With Cabrillo's 2013-2014 season, hundreds more performers will follow in their footsteps, in shows spanning the entire history of musical theatre, from the 1940s to the present.
