The Human Race Theatre Company has introduced the lineup for its 2017-2018 Eichelberger Loft Season - a five-show collection of works that are sure to entertain as the organization begins its third decade of producing high-caliber professional theatre for Miami Valley audiences. The season, featuring one new musical and four plays, begins September 7, 2017.

Starting in the back of the packed Feinstein's/54 Below house with 'It's a New World' (Harold Arlen/Ira Gershwin), Molly Pope has your attention. The band has played the overture; now it is her turn, crooning in silence. As suddenly as the first number ends, you're launched into the energetic 'Gotta Have Me Go with You,' Pope working her way through the crowd to the stage to join Brian Beach and Danny Bevins, her pair of enthusiastic backup dancers for the evening and the final pieces of her very complete transformation into Vicki Lester.

The Public Theater (Artistic Director, Oskar Eustis; Executive Director, Patrick Willingham) begins performances for the 13th annual UNDER THE RADAR FESTIVAL on Wednesday, January 4.

Room Service, the 1937 screwball comedy by Allen Boretz and John Murray is Broadway-bound.

The Hungarian play that inspired a trio of iconic films and a massive Broadway smash comes to Hillsboro for an Oregon premiere this holiday season. Bag&Baggage Productions, Hillsboro's resident professional theatre, presents Parfumerie, adapted by EP Dowdall from the Hungarian play Illatzzertar by Miklos Laszlo, now through December 23rd at The Venetian Theatre.

The Flat Rock Playhouse 2016 season is celebrating the holiday season with a brand new Music on the Rock featuring classic carols that will transport you and your family to a winter wonderland not at the North Pole, but in the rolling green hills of Ireland. A Celtic Christmas will run from December 1st though the 18th at The Flat Rock Playhouse Downtown on Main Street in Hendersonville.

For many, Friendsgiving is becoming the social event that cannot be missed. The Cincinnati May Festival is proud to announce the release of a new recording on Bridge Records. Under the leadership of Music Director James Conlon, the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and May Festival Chorus (Robert Porco, director) recorded R. Nathaniel Dett's oratorio, The Ordering of Moses, live at Carnegie Hall in May 2014 during the beloved invitational Spring for Music Festival.

The Original Theatre Company and Salisbury Playhouse in association with Eastbourne Theatres will present the national tour of Emlyn Williams's psychological thriller, NIGHT MUST FALL, directed by Luke Sheppard and starring Gwen Taylor as Mrs Bramson.  The tour will begin at Devonshire Park Theatre in Eastbourne on 19 August, with a National press night on Wednesday 7 September at Salisbury Playhouse.

More than 75 years since the annual celebration began, June Dairy Month continues to recognize dairy foods and the farmers who produce them. Beginning in 1937, the observance was created as a way to help distribute extra milk when cows started on pasture in the summer months.
