Hampstead Theatre has announced the first three productions of 2019.

The League of Professional Theatre Women (Kelli Lynn Harrison & Catherine Porter, Co-Presidents), an organization which has been leading the gender parity conversation and championing women in the professional theatre for over 35 years, will present its first Oral History Project of the 2018-19 season with Tony-nominated actress Lois Smith on Monday, October 22 starting at 6pm in the Bruno Walter Auditorium at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts (111 Amsterdam Avenue at 65th Street). Admission to the event is FREE and seats are available on a first-come-first-seated basis. Doors will open at 5:30pm. 

American Repertory Theater at Harvard University (A.R.T.) announces October and November 2018 programming at OBERON, its club-style theater space for cutting-edge performance and thriving incubator for local and emerging artists. The Almeida Theatre Today Announces Two New Almeida Young Company Shows.

The Australian Ballet today announced that the company will tour to Beijing, Nanjing and Shanghai in October 2018. The 2018 China Tour, The Australian Ballet's ninth tour to China, marks the international debut of Artistic Director David McAllister's dazzling production of The Sleeping Beauty, which is sure to enchant audiences in Beijing and Shanghai, while the company will present the delightful, enduring romance of Maina Gielgud's Giselle to audiences in Nanjing.

Core Dance, the award-winning contemporary dance organization based in Decatur, GA and Houston, TX, will present EnCORE Dance on Film on Friday, May 25, 2018 from 5:00-10:00p.m. at Core Studios, 139 Sycamore Street, Decatur Square. The Artistic Home Ensemble will present the Chicago premiere of Lauren Gunderson's ADA AND THE ENGINE as the final entry in its three-play 2018-19 season, according to company Artistic Director Kathy Scambiatterra, who announced the season today. The 36-year-old Gunderson was the most-produced playwright in America during 2017, according to American Theatre Magazine.
