REPRISE 2.0 (led by Producing Artistic Director Marcia Seligson), in association with the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television's Department of Theater (UCLA TFT) chaired by Brian Kite, presents its inaugural production of Sweet Charity.  Directed and choreographed by Kathleen Marshall with musical direction by Gerald Sternbach, the classic Broadway hit plays through July 1 at UCLA's Freud Playhouse. Ovens Auditorium will host Vince Gill, on Wednesday, November 7 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 22 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased online at Ticketmaster.com, by phone at 800-745-3000, at all Ticketmaster outlets or at the Bojangles' Coliseum Box Office located at 2700 E. One of the most important theatre festivals in the country, the TORONTO FRINGE FESTIVAL celebrates 30 years this summer. In honour of this major landmark for Canadian theatre, the Festival will feature a stellar line up of shows by many of Canada's hottest theatre artists, a throwback to some of the world's most important theatre productions with the #STARTEDATTHEFRINGE campaign, and a new creative pop-up patio called POSTSCRIPT in the Scadding Court hockey rink, where all events are free and open to the public. The TORONTO FRINGE takes place July 4 - July 15, 2018 with 159 shows at 43 venues presented across the city.

Casting is now complete for the inaugural REPRISE 2.0 production of Sweet Charity. Directed and choreographed by Kathleen Marshall, the classic Broadway hit plays from June 20 to July 1 at UCLA's Freud Playhouse. 

Kitchen Theatre Company concludes its 2017-2018 Season with a female-led production of Matt & Ben by Mindy Kaling and Brenda Withers, a comedy about friendship, fame, and two well known public figures. Performances of Matt & Ben begin at the Kitchen Theatre Company in The Percy Browning Performance Space on May 27 and run through June 10.

Twenty-one time Grammy Award-winning country music superstar Vince Gill will be returning to headline Atlanta's Fox Theatre on Saturday, Nov. 3 at 7:30 p.m. for the first time in 25 years. Gill's last headlining performance at the Fox was in 1992, making this a historical moment for the city and fans alike.

Robert Simpson, the founder and artistic director of Houston Chamber Choir, has been in a whirlwind, a waking dream as intoxicating as communion wine and as unreal as that spinning top in the last scene of INCEPTION, since Good Friday when he learned that Houston Chamber Choir, the chorale he established in 1995, was winner of the 2018 Margaret Hillis Award for Choral Excellence. Imagine Ballet Theatre, an Ogden-based ballet company, is bringing spring to the stage of Peery's Egyptian Theatre, with their whimsical  production of Fairyopolis, Mad Rush, Bartok Dances and a special  performance by PALS on April 27and 28, 2018. The Centerpiece Gala will be the World Premiere of Drake Doremus' sci-fi romance Zoe starring Ewan McGregor, Lea Seydoux, Rashida Jones, and Theo James. Producers Michael De Luca and Jennifer Todd today announced additional presenters for the 90th Oscars® telecast. Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, “The Oscars” will air live Sunday, March 4, on The ABC Television Network.

The producing team of Broadway Actress/Indie Producer Ashley Kate Adams (La Cage Au Folles, The Anthem) and Broadway Producer Jim Kierstead (Kinky Boots, Indecent) will premieretheir new movie ACE at the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival on Saturday, February 24th. This short drama about sexual identity, first love and social norms that takes place among college friends, was written and directed by newcomer Jordan Gear and stars Jonathan Lipnicki, the former child actor from Jerry Maguire.

Michael Kahn today announces Shakespeare Theatre Company's 2018-2019 Season.
