Delaware Theatre Company is celebrating its 40th Anniversary Season by honoring the company founder and directors emeriti at their annual fundraiser, Wine Feast & Auction, on November 2, 2018 at 6PM at the Chase Center on the Riverfront. Honorees include founder Cleveland Morris and directors emeriti Carol Balick, Marilyn Hayward, Michael T. Marquardt, Charles F. Richards, Jr., Esq., and William M. Shea. Morris, now living in Virginia, will attend the Wine Feast.

Celebrating the centennial of Alan Jay Lerner, The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director; Evans Haile, Executive Director), dedicated to the development of new musicals and rediscovery of musical gems from the past, is proud to announce that its acclaimed Musicals in Mufti series will celebrate the work of the legendary librettist and lyricist Alan Jay Lerner, whose hundredth birthday was August 31, 2018. Judi Dench and Gillian Anderson are part of the all-star cast that came together at the Theatre Royal in London to celebrate the master musical composer Richard Rodgers (192-1979). This remarkable production, Some Enchanted Evening: Richard Rodgers Tribute Gala, will be screened at the River Street Theatre in downtown Jaffrey on Saturday, September 1 at 7pm and again on Wednesday, September 5 at 2pm.

Cleveland Play House (CPH) kicks off its 2018-2019 Season with the spine tingling tale of Susan Hill's The Woman in Black.  Hill's gothic ghost story, adapted for the stage by Stephen Mallatratt, will star Bradley Armacost as Arthur Kipps and Adam Wesley Brown as the Actor in the show that Daily Mail called, "A nerve-shredding experience."  Director Robin Herford will recreate his original staging from the London West End.  The American premiere of the West End Production is produced by PW Productions and Pemberley Productions.  Previews begin on September 15th, with press opening on September 21st at the Allen Theatre in Playhouse Square.

A man who surely knows a thing or two about comedy, Mark Lonow, the co-owner of the legendary Improv chain, will world premiere his latest play (co-written with his wife Jo Anne Astrow) JEWS, CHRISTIANS AND SCREWING STALIN at the Matrix Theatre beginning August 16, 2018. Taking his childhood dramas and traumas, Mark repurposes his familial distress to make you cry, not from its heavy seriousness, but from all the laughing so hard.

Theatre for a New Audience (TFANA; Jeffrey Horowitz, Founding Artistic Director) is pleased to announce that Gregory Doran, artistic director, Royal Shakespeare Company, has invited Michael Boyd to stage his edit of Tamburlaine, Boyd's version of Christopher Marlowe's two-part epic, Tamburlaine the Great, which will open the Swan Theatre season at the Stratford-Upon-Avon based RSC.

For more than three decades, George Christie was among the most prominent leaders of the Hells Angels biker organization. He was prosecuted and persecuted; hunted and hated, but always respected, even by his enemies, of which there were many. Now, Christie shares his journey from accused (though not convicted) murderer and arsonist to legitimate business owner and family man in the new, solo stage production OUTLAW. Written and directed by Richard La Plante, OUTLAW is coming to the Playhouse @ Westport Plaza June 29-July 1.
