Writers' Theatre Artistic Director Michael Halberstam and Executive Director Kathryn M. Lipuma announce the launch of Writers' 20th Anniversary Season with The Real Thing by Tom Stoppard, directed by Michael Halberstam.

A.R.T. American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) will present The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess, opening the A.R.T.'s 2011-2 season tonight, August 17 at the Loeb Drama Center. The 2010 Tony Award-winning Best Musical MEMPHIS announced casting today for the U.S. national tour of the critically acclaimed production. The national tour of MEMPHIS will star Bryan Fenkart (Huey) and Felicia Boswell (Felicia) with Quentin Earl Darrington (Delray), Rhett George (Gator), Julie Johnson (Mama), Will Mann (Bobby), and William Parry (Mr. Simmons).

Roundabout Theatre Company's (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) critically acclaimed Broadway production of Oscar Wilde's comedy The Importance of Being Earnest, directed by and starring Brian Bedford, was filmed live with multiple high definition cameras during public performances on March 11 and 12, 2011 at the American Airlines Theatre (227 West 42nd St.).

This one-person tour de force performance encompasses the life of one of baseball's legendary greats: The Boston Red Sox's Ted Williams. Through the art of performance and visual imagery, we follow Ted's life from his humble beginnings in San Diego to his shinning accomplishments on the diamond.
