Fatima NeJame, president and chief executive officer of the world renowned Palm Beach Photographic Centre (PBPC), today announced the prize winners of its current exhibition: 22nd Annual MEMBERS' SHOW. Running Through October 27, 2018.

The 2018 Northeast Film Festival will be hosted by Gracie award-winning comedian Mary Dimino.  Located at Teaneck Cinemas, NEFF is one of New Jersey's most celebrated festivals. Hiring Dimino as the ceremony's annual host/presenter, NEFF welcomes back the comedian for its sixth year.

Dimensions Festival returns to the iconic Fort Punto Christo this August, and for it's seventh edition, there's a massive five days in store with seven stages, over 100 artists, a fortress, and of course, boat parties. The Harbour sees off over 20 boats setting sail, embarking on sonic journeys across the glittering Adriatic. Jump on board for adventures with underground heroes, revered labels, heavyweight DJ's and breakthrough talent all stepping behind the boat's booth.

Tickets are now on sale for the 2018 New York New Works Theatre Festival at www.nynwtheatrefestival.com. The festival runs September 4 - September 22, 2018. The festival is playing at Theatre Row, a program for Building the Arts NY, Inc. 

The Stolen Shakespeare Guild presents THE WEDDING SINGER with Music by Matthew Sklar, Book by Chad Beguelin and Tim Herlihy, and Lyrics by Chad Beguelin. The production runs July 13th - July 29th 2018 at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center in the Sander's Theater, 1300 Gendy St. Fort Worth, TX 76107. Tickets cost $16.00 - $22.00. A pre-show wedding reception with early seating, snacks and wine is available one hour before show time and tickets for the pre-show are an additional $10.00. On June 21st, the Shakespeare Academy at Stratford kicked off its fifth season by welcoming fourteen young actors to Stratford. Coming from as close as New York City and as far as Singapore and Mexico, the group was selected from a record number of applicants to spend six weeks training and performing on the property that once housed the American Shakespeare Festival Theater.

The Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center and CineFestival are excited to announce the 2018 Premios Mesquite winners, the Third Annual Ya'Ke Smith Filmmaker Award, master classes for directors, a free punk rock show featuring Fantástico and the official list of CineFestival after parties and receptions.  The National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures (NALAC) will also present the inaugural NALAC Fund for the Arts Adán Medrano Legacy Award in Film.

Produced by Spiral International and Dynamo, and under the direction of Ernesto Contreras, winner of 19 awards at international film festivals, 'Falco' features renowned actor Michel Brown (La Querida del Centauro and Pasión de Gavilanes), who recently won a 2018 International Emmy Award for the HBO series Mr. Ávila, in the role of detective Alejandro Falco. Kew Gardens Festival of Cinema announced today its film lineup of 110 films and the news that Regal Entertainment Group has signed on to become the lead sponsor for the 2nd annual 10-day event in Queens. While the festival organizers are saddened to leave the Kew Gardens Cinemas in Kew Gardens, they are very excited for what this means for the future of the film festival. For it's sophomore year, Kew Gardens Festival of Cinema will be moving into its new home at Regal Entertainment Group's UA Midway Stadium 9 in Forest Hills, Queens. From August 3rd to August 11th guests can enjoy films exhibited by state of the art projection and sound equipment in the comfort of Midway's recliner seats. The Opening Night Film at the Midway will be the New York Premiere of Ari Gold's award-winning and critically acclaimed “The Song of Sway Lake” starring Rory Culkin on Friday, Aug. 3rd at 6:30pm. On Sunday, August 12th, the festival's Awards Dinner Gala returns to Terrace on the Park in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park.

Into the Valley festival 2018 will take place next 28th to 30th September in Andalusia, Spain, with the amazing and ancient Castle of Sohail in the town of Fuengirola as main location. The Brooklyn Nets will hold open auditions for the Brooklynettes dance team on Saturday, June 23 on the Barclays Center Practice Court. Registration begins at 10 a.m., and the audition begins at 11 a.m.

Corkscrew Theater Festival presents Field, Awakening, written by Melis Aker and directed by Tatiana Pandiani. Running July 14-22, Field, Awakening is a political drama set in Turkey in 2016, where a group of high school friends reunites at a soccer field on the evening of an attempted military coup. As the night progresses, the friends unexpectedly find themselves at the center of international strife, and they begin to realize that the Turkey they called home may be rapidly disappearing. Performed by Kieron Anthony, Ayse Babahan, Jamar Brathwaite, Sinan Eczacibasi*, Fahim Hamid*, and Nazli Sarpkaya, Field, Awakening is the second production in the second annual season of Corkscrew Theater Festival, a new summer theater festival that provides early-career artists with a high level of production support.

Mara Isaacs, Director of Project Springboard: Developing Dance Musicals, today announced the recipients of the second annual residency awards: Bhangin' It, led by Rehana Mirza (co-book writer), Mike Lew (co-book writer), Sam Wilmott (composer/lyricist), Rujuta Vaidya (choreographer), and Amy Anders Corcoran (director); and The Night Falls, led by Troy Schumacher (director/choreographer, New York City Ballet soloist), Ellis Ludwig-Leone (composer/co-lyricist), and Karen Russell (book writer/co-lyricist, MacArthur Award winner and Pulitzer finalist). Both projects will be in residence June 4-22, 2018 in New York City.

Sundance Institute's Theatre Lab kicks off on May 6th, and today announced this year's participating acting company and creative advisors. The Lab, which runs through May 27 at the Fellah Hotel outside Marrakech, Morocco, is supervised by Artistic Director Philip Himberg and Producing Director Christopher Hibma, and is the centerpiece of the Institute's year-round work with the theatre community, alternating locations between Sundance Resort in Utah and a venue in the Middle East/North African region, as part of a multi-year commitment to international work and a means of facilitating cultural exchange between artists writing in English and Arabic.
