Right Angle Entertainment Announces Jim Lanahan As Vice President

Right Angle Entertainment announced today the hiring of Jim Lanahan as Vice President. He will be based in the Los Angeles offices handling touring show general management, marketing and operations for the company. He joins Right Angle Entertainment with a long history of working with Broadway and the road's biggest producers and productions including Disney Theatrical Productions, Really Useful Group and Blue Man Productions. Additionally, John Poland and Elissa E. Szieff have joined the executive team as Director of Touring, and Chief Financial Officer, respectively. Poland will be in charge of tour coordination and Szieff will handle all company business management and accounting. Carla Marie Rugg continues on as Associate Producer, and Cliff Kellas remains in his role as General Manager.

Erte was nicknamed 'the father of Art Deco', a soubriquet that he was not comfortable with but it unfortunately stuck. He was born into Russian aristocracy and his family tree can be traced back to the Tartar kahns. He was greatly influenced by books on Persian and Indian miniatures in his father's library and by his beloved Greek vases that he studied during frequent trips as a boy to the Hermitage Museum.

The producers of Broadway's newest hit, ONCE ON THIS ISLAND, announced today that Broadway veterans Norm Lewis and Tamyra Gray will step into the roles of Agwe and Papa Ge, respectively, on January 8. Merle Dandridge exits for a contractual leave to shoot her television series Greenleaf. Quentin Earl Darrington will also be on a contractual leave.

Young directed the activities of TUTS from its inception in 1968 until his retirement in 2006.
