Dallas Cowboys fans are in for a #throwbackThursday like no other. The Dallas Historical Society is hosting a panel of iconic Cowboys players, including Cliff Harris, Mel Renfro and Drew Pearson, to open the Tom and Alicia Landry Family Collection, sponsored by the Murchison Family. The exhibit opens at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 12 at the Hall of State in Fair Park. Mike Doocy, sports anchor for Fox 4, will moderate the panel discussion.

Theatre fans need not travel all the way to New York City to get a taste of Broadway. Though the Big Apple boasts perhaps the freshest productions and greatest talents in the world, many of the most successful shows on Broadway will eventually hit the road- bringing and equally magical (though sometimes slightly updated) version of their production to cities across the country.

The San Francisco Tribal & Textile Art Show, is one of the most important tribal art fairs in the world. San Francisco Playhouse announced casting for the Bay Area premiere of Groundhog Day the Musical, the hit Broadway comedy adapted from the timeless Bill Murray film. Danny Rubin, co-writer of the 1993 film, wrote the book, with music and lyrics supplied by Tony-winner Tim Minchin (Matilda). Susi Damilano will direct the Playhouse production, with music direction by Dave Dobrusky and choreography by Nicole Helfer.

Geva Theatre Center presents La Cage Aux Folles, with book by Harvey Fierstein, music and lyrics by Jerry Herman, based on the play by Jean Poiret, directed by Melissa Rain Anderson, with musical direction by Don Kot, and choreography by Sam Hay in the Elaine P. Wilson Stage from September 3 through October 6.
