Village Theatre has welcomed a new show and a new Doctor to the stage this weekend. With a set that can’t leave your mind after stepping out of the Issaquah theater, and a leading lady who steals the show (good news, since she’s the only one in it), Becoming Dr. Ruth is a labor of love and arduous work by all those involved. 

Experience will present 'The Complete History of America (abridged)'. This fast-paced comedy takes audiences on a hilarious and educational ride through 600 years of American history in just 6000 seconds.

Elton John is now an EGOT. He won a Tony Award in 2000 for Best Original Score for Aida with Tim Rice. He was awarded with his first Oscar in 1995 for 'Can You Feel the Love Tonight' from the Lion King. Other EGOT winners include Viola Davis, Whoopi Goldberg, Marvin Hamlisch, Helen Hayes, Alan Menken, Rita Moreno, Andrew Lloyd Webber, and more.

San Francisco Ballet (SF Ballet) Principal Dancer Yuan Yuan Tan will give her final performance with San Francisco Ballet on Wednesday, February 14 at 7:30pm, dancing the role of Marguerite in Sir Frederick Ashton’s Marguerite and Armand at the War Memorial Opera House.
