Based on Harold Gray's comic strip titled Little Orphan Annie, this musical tells the story of a little orphan with equal measures of pluck and positivity who charms everyone's hearts, despite a next-to-nothing start in New York City in the year 1933.

The cast from the Tony and Olivier Award-winning hit Broadway musical “Come From Away” will perform on NBC’s “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” special prior to the lighting of the iconic Christmas tree. The special will also include performances from the Pentatonix, Harry Connick Jr., Carrie Underwood, and the Radio City Rockettes.

Theatro Sao Pedro premieres the satirical ballet chante The Seven Deadly Sins, the last collaboration between Kurt Weil and Bertolt Brecht. The production will be musically directed by Ira Levin, who will command the Theatro Sao Pedro Orchestra. The Seven Deadly Sins opens on November 5th. In all, there will be 8 recitals until the 14th.

eabody Award-winning composer, Matthew Puckett, announced today the upcoming release of two demos, “Faster” and  “What Love Looks Like,” from his  new musical Rebel Genius, about the early life of Albert Einstein, featuring Broadway stalwarts Corey Cott (Newsies, Bandstand) and Hannah Elless (Bright Star, Godspell).
