Featuring the songs of a generation, A Sign of the Times tells the story of Cindy, a young woman pursuing her passion and finding her voice in New York City in 1965. Set against the backdrop of women's liberation, the civil rights movement, and the Vietnam War - events as relevant today as they were then, A Sign of the Times will transport audiences to the big city in the 60s with heart and soul, featuring such classic songs as "Downtown," "You Don't Own Me," "Don't Sleep in the Subway," "The Shoop Shoop Song (It's In His Kiss)," and "The Boy From New York City."

The composer and lyricist of Waitress, the multi-platinum-selling Grammy and twice Tony-nominated singer-songwriter Sara Bareilles, will return to the Brooks Atkinson Theatre to host the final edition of the show's hugely popular a?oeCast Album Karaokea?? program following the 7 PM performance on Tuesday, December 17th. Interested audience members will be able to sign up before the performance for the chance to sing one minute of any song in the show accompanied by the onstage band led by musical director Nadia DiGiallonardo. Katharine McPhee currently stars as Jenna through January 5, 2020.

De Blasio Administration Announces New IDNYC Program Benefits Ahead Of Five Year Anniversary

The de Blasio Administration today announced the launch of the IDNYC renewal campaign, new and returning benefit partners, and the IDNYC Middle School Card. With the fifth anniversary of the IDNYC program approaching and the first set of cards set to expire beginning in January 2020, the program has also introduced a new card design and a comprehensive, citywide advertising and targeted outreach campaign to promote renewals. New York's leading LGBTQ film festival, NewFest, has announced the full lineup of their 31st annual celebration of the year's best LGBTQ films from around the world. As announced earlier this week, the festival will kick off the festival's 31st edition with the New York premiere of Mike Doyle's Manhattan-set ensemble rom-com SELL BY, featuring an eclectic cast including Scott Evans (Netflix's “Grace and Frankie”), Kate Walsh (ABC's “Grey's Anatomy”), Academy Award-nominee and Emmy Award-winner Patricia Clarkson, Michelle Buteau (Netflix's “Tales of the City”) and Augustus Prew (HIGH-RISE), and will close the festival with the New York premiere of Rodrigo Bellott's award-winning film TU ME MANQUES, which was recently announced as Bolivia's submission for Best International Feature Film selection for the 2019 Academy Awards.

With Friday's Brooklyn show SOLD OUT the band have acted quickly to satisfy fan demand by releasing seats in all price catergories starting at $49.50 plus booking fees. They have also released 'Flight of Icarus' show art to coincide with the debut of their latest live video clip. The 1983 song from the 'Piece of Mind ' album was Maiden's biggest airplay track in America and has not been perfomed live since 1986 - it being resurrected for this tour with Bruce Dickinson equipped with a pair of flame-throwers onstage.

The day-9am to 7pm-moved fluently through three parts: INSPIRATION, a morning filled with dynamic conversations, performances, and keynotes with artists and experts, EXPLORATION, deeper dive breakout sessions, and ACTION, performances by exceptional artists and performers including the Kennedy Center's brilliant 2018-2019 Citizen Artist Fellows.
