Motown the Musical recently released 450,000 new tickets for sale, taking bookings for the hit West End show at the Shaftesbury Theatre to 2 November 2019

On the heels of a highly successful multi-city tour and run on Broadway, the world's best-selling touring magic show, The Illusionists - Live From Broadway, will play the Peace Center on Saturday, May 4, 2019, at 8 p.m. and Sunday, May 5, 2019, at 1 and 6:30 p.m. as part of its North American tour in 2019.

Motown the Musical lands on the Manchester Opera House Stage from 26 February - 23rd March 2019 and producers from the hit West End show recently held open auditions at the Opera House Manchester to find talented child and adult performers to play iconic Motown artists in the touring production.

Complete 2018-2019 schedule has been announced for the North American tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Love Never Dies, the spellbinding sequel to The Phantom of the Opera. The tour launched in Fall 2018, and continues this week in Nashville, TN at TPAC June 19-24, followed by the Orpheum Theater in Minneapolis, MN next week, June 26-July 1. Mildred's Umbrella Theater Company (MU) has planned a powerhouse duo of premieres and a hard-hitting issue-based reading series for its inaugural season at Chelsea Market Theater. Reflecting its mission to support the work of women in theatre, the company will produce only works by women, with a majority of the prominent roles in leadership and casting filled by women as well.

Today, the McAninch Arts Center (MAC) announced its 2018-2019 season, its fifth season since the venue's grand reopening in 2014 at 425 Fawell Blvd. on the campus of the College of DuPage. In recent years, the MAC has been attracting more than 100,000 patrons annually to more than 200 performances, solidifying its position as an essential source of arts and entertainment for DuPage and surrounding communities. Carnegie Hall today announced that a performance by the National Symphony Orchestra (NSO), led by its Music Director Gianandrea Noseda, has been added to its 2018-2019 season line-up. The concert, scheduled for Sunday, May 19, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage, will be the National Symphony's first Carnegie Hall performance since Mr. Noseda began his tenure as the orchestra's music director in fall 2017.

Santa Fe Opera's General Director Charles MacKay and General Director Designate Robert Meya announced today the repertory, principal singers, conductors, directors, and designers for the company's 63rd season in 2019, along with updates to the 2018 season, which opens June 29. Joining MacKay and Meya were Santa Fe Opera Board of Directors President Susan G. Marineau, and Director of Education and Community Programs Andrea Fellows Walters.

Magic Reality Group, a Miami-based international production company, announced today the world premier of a new and unique production December 7-8, 2018at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County. Cleveland Play House (CPH) is proud to name Nick Gandiello and Chelsea Marcantel as the recipients of the 2018 Roe Green Award, in conjunction with the 7th Annual New Ground Theatre Festival (NGTF). Each year, the Roe Green Award is given for outstanding achievement in playwriting.  Mr. Gandiello's play Cicada will be presented in a reading on Sunday, May 13th at 7:30 p.m., and Ms. Marcantel's production of Tiny Houses will be offered on Saturday May 19th at 2:00 p.m. As previously announced, Tiny Houses will have a full production run in the Outcalt Theatre March 23rd -April 14th, 2019 as part of the 2018-2019 CPH Season.  CPH Artistic Director, Laura Kepley, will direct both presentations of Marcantel's play.

As the West End smash hit comedy celebrates its second birthday in the West End today, the critically acclaimed and Olivier Award-nominated The Comedy About A Bank Robbery extends its run until 7 April 2019. Tickets for the new booking period are now on sale.

The Fulton Theatre unveiled an amazing lineup of shows for the 2018/2019 season! During the Fulton Theatre's annual Dinner on Stage event, Executive Artistic Producer Marc Robin-who is celebrating his 10th anniversary at the Fulton-gave a preview of the thrilling lineup that awaits Lancaster theater-goers in the coming season. Today, the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts announced two new performances in the Kauffman Center Presents series. Comedy-magic duo Penn & Teller will close out the 2017-2018 Kauffman Center Presents season on June 22. Country musicians Lee Greenwood and Dailey & Vincent will open the 2018-2019 series with a double-headliner concert on July 1.

Motown the Musical will embark on a major UK and Ireland tour in 2018-2019 arriving at The Bristol Hippodrome for a 4-week a four week  run from Thursday 10 January - Saturday 2 February 2019. Further dates and casting to be announced soon.

With 11 titles set to be broadcast to more than 500 UK cinemas and to another 1,000 in 40 countries across the globe, the Royal Opera House's Live Cinema Season 2018/19 will showcase a wide variety of ballet and opera, including three new works, all relayed live from Covent Garden. RATTLESTICK PLAYWRIGHTS THEATER (Daniella Topol, Artistic Director; Annie Middleton, Managing Director) is proud to announce its 2018/19 season. In Fall 2018, MacArthur Genius Grant Winner Samuel D. Hunter (The Whale, Bright New Boise, The Few) will team up with long-term collaborator Davis McCallum with the plays Lewiston and Clarkston, to be performed on a double bill for the first time. In Spring 2019, Rattlestick will present the World Premiere of Lockdown by Cori Thomas (When January Feels Like Summer), and directed by Kent Gash (Barbeque), commissioned by Rattlestick with support from The Toulmin Foundation.

The 2018/19 Mirvish season will feature six Canadian premieres, one North American premiere, one pre-Broadway engagement and five new productions. A total of 16 shows will play at Mirvish theatres from June 2018 to July 2019. The main subscription season will feature seven shows and the Off-Mirvish season three shows. There will be six bonus shows that will not be on subscription.
