Signature Theatre is proud to announce the full cast and creative team for the DC premiere of Girlfriend. Directed and choreographed by Signature Theatre Associate Artistic Director Matthew Gardiner (Signature's Crazy for You, Jelly's Last Jam), this coming of age musical features a book by Todd Almondand featuring the music and lyrics of Matthew Sweet.

Columbus Association for the Performing Arts (CAPA) and Broadway in Columbus (BIC) are proud to announce the Broadway musical HAMILTON will play its premiere Columbus engagement to anchor the 2018-19 PNC Broadway in Columbus season. The six-show season, supported in part by PNC, offers four productions never before seen in Columbus including a two-week engagement of Disney's Aladdin, The Play That Goes Wrong, Finding Neverland, and of course, HAMILTON. The season also includes the 2017 Tony-winning Best Musical Revival Hello, Dolly! starring Broadway legend Betty Buckley as Dolly Gallagher Levi, and the 20th anniversary touring production of RENT.

The New York Musical Festival (NYMF) announced today 11 of the 12 productions slated for 2018 NYMF. Among the shows announced in the lineup are the Next Link Project selections, as well as the first of two invited productions. Now in its fifteenth year, the 2018 Festival will take place July 9th through August 5th at locations on West 42nd Street in New York City. Dan Markley serves as NYMF Executive Director and Rachel Sussman serves as Producing Artistic Director.

A crowd of 2800+ filled the Connor Palace this evening, as Playhouse Square unveiled the seven shows that will be featured in their highly-anticipated 2018-2019 KeyBank Broadway Series. The annual season announcement and launch party featured a variety of performances and appearances from various Broadway artists. Performances by cast members from the 2018 North American Tour of MISS SAIGON and COME FROM AWAY had audience members on their feet, and the evening's special guests included Beverley Bass, the real-life pilot featured in COME FROM AWAY, and Academy Award nominee Chazz Palminteri, whose real childhood story is brought to life in the musical A BRONX TALE.

92nd Street Y's 48th season of Lyrics & Lyricists continues with an essential American story, Irving Berlin: American, celebrating Berlin's extraordinary life and work. On the occasion of the centenary of the writing of "God Bless America" - our nation's "other anthem," - artistic director, co-writer and choreographer, Noah Racey (Lyrics & Lyricists veteran, Thoroughly Modern Millie), and co-writer Cheryl L. Davis (Barnstormer, Maid's Door, Bridges) explore how the five-year-old Russian immigrant who arrived at Ellis Island speaking no English came to create songs that epitomize American music, and how he became the spokesman in song for the country that allowed him to flourish. The cast is stacked with actor/dancer/singer triple threats: Stephen DeRosa (A Funny Thing Happened on the way to the Forum), Holly Butler (On the Town), Danny Gardner ( Dames at Sea, Crazy for You), Emily Hsu (The Unsinkable Molly Brown), Richard Riaz Yoder (Hello, Dolly!) and Pace University theater student Jada Temple.

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley presents the Tony Award-winning musical The Bridges of Madison County, based on the 1992 bestselling novel by Robert James Waller about love both lost and found. Set amidst the cornfields of Iowa in 1965, this passionate musical follows the unexpected affair of a devoted Italian-born housewife and a roving National Geographic photographer set over four sensual, heart-stirring days. The New York Philharmonic will return to Bravo! Vail in Colorado for the Orchestra's 16th annual summer residency there, performing six orchestral concerts July 20-27, 2018.

The nominees for the 2018 Helen Hayes Awards were announced on February 5, 2018. One of the country's most prestigious cultural honors, The Helen Hayes Awards recognizes and celebrates excellence in professional theatre throughout the Washington metropolitan area. The National Theatre's Helen Hayes Gallery set the scene for the announcement of nominees in 47 categories for artistic excellence, and the theatre companies eligible for the 2017 John Aniello Award for Outstanding Emerging Theatre Company. It was announced today that the hilarious new Broadway musical comedy THE PROM will star Tony Award Nominee Brooks Ashmanskas (Something Rotten!), Tony Award Winner Beth Leavel (The Drowsy Chaperone), two-time Tony Award Nominee Christopher Sieber (Shrek the Musical), Caitlin Kinnunen (Bridges of Madison County), Isabelle McCalla (Aladdin), Michael Potts (Jitney), Angie Schworer (The Producers), Courtenay Collins (Broadway Debut) and Josh Lamon (Groundhog Day) and will officially open on Broadway on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at a Shubert theater to be announced.

San Diego Musical Theatre announced today the cast and creative team for its upcoming production of The Full Monty. With a mix of raucous humor and an audacious pop-rock score, this Americanized stage version of the hit 1997 hit film features a book by Terrence McNally (Kiss of the Spiderwoman, Ragtime, Catch Me If You Can) with music and lyrics by David Yazbek (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown). The Full Monty will be directed by Neil Dale (SDMT's Billy Elliot), with Music Direction by Don LeMaster, and choreography by Paul David Bryant (SDMT's Ragtime). The Full Monty runs January 26 - February 25, 2018, at the historic Horton Grand Theatre, with press opening on Saturday, January 27 at 8:00 p.m.

Freeform, Disney's young adult television and streaming network, will premiere brand new episodes of breakout comedies “grown-ish” and “Alone Together,” as well as fan-favorite series “The Fosters” and “Beyond.” Also in February, Freeform will celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the release of the beloved Disney animated classic “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” with an all-day marathon on Sunday, Feb. 4, beginning at 11:30 a.m. EST.
