Apple Orders Limited Series From J.J. Abrams, Jennifer Garner To Star

According to Variety, Apple has ordered a new series from J.J. Abrams straight to series. The new show reunited Abrams with Jennifer Garner, who is set to star. The two previously worked together on the hit series ALIAS. The new show is based on the 2017 memoir “My Glory Was I Had Such Friends' by Amy Silverstein. Post-show talkbacks, featuring experts in everything from civil liberties to laws related to baby naming, will be offered throughout the run.

Based on extensive reporting by Gabriel Sherman for his bestselling book, The Loudest Voice in the Room, the series stars Academy Award® and Golden Globe winner Russell Crowe (Gladiator, A Beautiful Mind) in the title role and Academy Award nominee Naomi Watts as Gretchen Carlson.
