Sydney Theatre Company has released new tickets for STC Artistic Director Kip Williams' own adaptation of Oscar Wilde's devilishly wicked novel, The Picture of Dorian Gray which opened to critical acclaim and five star reviews over the weekend. The company has been granted an exemption by NSW Health to play to a 75% audience capacity for this season at Roslyn Packer Theatre and new seats have been released for sale today for all performances from Wednesday 2 December onwards.

The Marsh announces the line-up for its first-ever digital global festival, MarshStream International Solo Fest, presenting performers aged 16 to 79 from across the nation and around the world, including Russia, Scotland, Israel, Canada, and Australia, as well as some of The Marsh's fan-favorites in a four day online marathon of 51 global works.

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley will stream a benefit online workshop reading of Pandora, an intriguing new work by acclaimed playwright Laurel Ollstein. TheatreWorks's production of Ollstein's play They Promised Her the Moon, an inventive look at women's early efforts to join the space race that was a hit among audiences and critics, was abruptly closed in March when shelter-in-place orders went into effect.

Now, the show is coming to London's The Other Palace - the first venue outside of the States. Creator Joe Iconis discusses the show's development, fan support, and why it's struck such a chord with young audiences in particular.

Four Year Strong have finally announced their highly anticipated fifth full-length album Brain Pain will be released on February 28 via Pure Noise Records. This will be the band's first album since their self-titled release in 2015 and soon, fans will learn that it was worth every second of waiting.

Lincoln Center Theater, under the direction of André Bishop, has announced it will produce a new musical during its 2019-2020 season. FLYING OVER SUNSET, with a book and direction by James Lapine, music by Tom Kitt, and lyrics by Michael Korie, will feature choreography by Michelle Dorrance, and will begin previews March 12, 2020 and open on Thursday, April 16, 2020 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street). Carmen Cusack, Harry Hadden-Paton and Tony Yazbeck will head the cast with additional casting to be announced at a later date.

The 2019 Bard SummerScape festival presents a pair of important new dance and theater works next month. On July 5-7, Evidence, A Dance Company and its founder and artistic director, Ronald K. Brown, make their festival debut with the world premiere of Grace and Mercy. A new SummerScape commission, this two-part program pairs Grace (live), a 20th-anniversary version of Brown's soulful masterpiece Grace, now danced entirely to live music performed by Peven Everett, Gordon Chambers, and others, with the world premiere of Mercy, Brown's new companion piece, which is set to a brand-new score written and performed live by ten-time Grammy-nominee Meshell Ndegeocello.

Play On Shakespeare today announces an expansive list of compelling actors and dynamic directors confirmed to participate in the Play on! Festival, presented in association with Classic Stage Company (CSC) and Oregon Shakespeare Festival (OSF). Play on! features 39 readings of new, work-in-progress translations of Shakespeare's plays into contemporary modern English by some of today's most exciting playwrights-May 29-June 30 at the Lynn F. Angelson Theater at CSC (136 E. 13th Street). In 2015, Oregon Shakespeare Festival launched an ambitious 39-play, three-year commissioning project, Play on!, tasking 36 playwrights-more than half of whom were women and playwrights of color, each paired with a dramaturg-to translate Shakespeare's canon in celebration of the enduring impact of the Bard's work. Supported by a generous grant from the Hitz Foundation and inspired by long-time patron Dave Hitz's passion for Shakespeare, the project was and continues to be led by Lue Morgan Douthit. Immerse yourself in the wild and indomitable female spirit with the Third Annual Andromeda's Sisters Gala to benefit the dance theater company The Neo-Political Cowgirls. The compelling three-day journey includes play readings, a private estate fundraiser and an interactive creativity workshop on June 14th 22nd and 23rd which can be enjoyed collectively or individually. The brain child of Kate Mueth who is the founder of the 501 ( c ) 3 company Neo-Political Cowgirls, Andromeda's Sisters is an arts and advocacy forum to create more work for women in theater and to increase the female voice in the narrative of our society's stories. Mueth brings her vibrant, unconventional, mind-expanding magic to the event. This is not your typical write-a-check and have a cocktail fundraiser. Guests will be treated to talented voices of the theater, advocacy, and legal world to expand their horizons and network with fascinating women. This is the uniquely fertile soil where community, arts and advocacy merge to grow both roots and blossoms. And men are most welcome to join in the fun.

In 2015, singer/songwriting phenom Ariana Gillis was, as they say, going places, until a chance accident sidelined her career. Winner of numerous awards in her native Canada, including the Canadian Folk Music Award, her life was devastated by a bizarre incident. Her collision with a car door caused a rare form of concussion which was not diagnosed until much later, rendering her unable to work or perform. A devastating injury can lead to the early end of a career, something Gillis had a lot of time to contemplate, but fortunately she was able to continue, ultimately.

Cleveland Play House is proud to announce the inspiring works for the 14th Annual New Ground Theatre Festival (NGTF).  NGTF provides the opportunity for playwrights to develop and showcase their work, while offering Cleveland audiences the opportunity to see these remarkable new plays come to life.  The Festival will run May 9th - May 19th.  

Ammunition Theatre Company has announced the world premiere production of Brain Problems, a new comedy by Malcolm Barrett directed by Bernardo Cubria. Opening is set for Friday, April 26, at 8pm, at The Pico in West Los Angeles. The engagement will continue through May 19 only.

Singer, songwriter, and producer Jake Miller releases new song 'NIKES' today off his highly anticipated six-song EP entitled BASED ON A TRUE STORY.due out on March 29th via RED MUSIC. The 80s synth-infused track is backed by rich production, personal lyrics, and a hummable guitar all courtesy of Miller. 'NIKES' debuted on 10 New Music Friday playlists worldwide including the U.S. as well as Apple Music's Best of the Week playlist. Complementing performances of Tony Award-winning actress and director Victoria Clark's production of Conor McPherson's new version of Strindberg's The Dance of Death, Classic Stage Company (CSC; Artistic Director, John Doyle) presents the second installment of its new Classic Conversations series. The series began with acclaimed actor Raul Esparza on the occasion of his "blisteringly good" (New York magazine) turn in Bertolt Brecht's Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui; another conversation will be announced this spring. The March 5 at 7pm event will serve as a rare, intimate, and engaging distillation of Clark's life in theater through conversation-with CSC Artistic Director John Doyle and celebrated music director Ted Sperling-and song. Sperling, who memorably worked with Clark on The Light in the Piazza, for which they both received Tony Awards, will also accompany Clark on piano for the musical portion of the evening.
