To celebrate the founding of Amore Opera in 2009, Artistic Director Nathan Hull has programmed six main-stage opera productions this season. Eisemann Center Presents Page Turner Adventures' production of The Magnificent Circus Mystery on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at 2:30 pm in the Hill Performance Hall at the Eisemann Center. A steamer trunk, a mysterious book, and a hat belonging to Harry Houdini begin a show filled with magic, juggling, unicycling, and physical comedy. The audience must solve clues, overcome obstacles, and figure out a 90 year-old-secret as they help to create the story from beginning to end.

Jerome Kern and Oscar Hammerstein II touched off an earthquake in Musical Theater with their 1927 musicalized version of Edna Ferber's 'Show Boat.'  A new iteration of 'Show Boat' has shoved off from the dock inside the MTH Theater on the third level of Crown Center for what will be pleased audiences.

The Ziegfeld Club, Inc., one of New York City's first performing arts charities to benefit women, is thrilled to announce that Lucille Lortel Award-Nominee Julianne Wick Davis (Southern Comfort) has been named the recipient of the fourth annual Billie Burke Ziegfeld Award (BBZA). Created to honor a female composer of musical theatre, the BBZA is a prestigious $10,000 cash grant. In addition, the recipient receives one year of artistic and professional mentorship from a prominent composer and a producer of musical theatre.
