On Saturday, December 14th, Country Dance*New York (CD*NY) will present Fall Fling, an afternoon and evening of contra dancing and live, high energy music performed by a group of exceptional musicians in the contra dance band, The Dam Beavers, with the proceedings led by nationally famed caller Lisa Greenleaf. All are welcome. No previous experience in dancing is required, and no partner is necessary. Quickly gaining momentum, pop-country band of brothers Holiday State have released their debut single “Friday Feelin,'”their first in a series of singles to come in preparation for the release of their debut EP this summer. Produced by Hunter Hayes' band leader, Andy Sheridan, “Friday Feelin'” is a fun, energetic song that has the beach vibes needed to complete any summer playlist. Taste of Country premiered the song calling it “the perfect anthem for rolling down the windows and blaring some fun summertime music as you head out to the beach with friends.” The song can be streamed and downloaded here.

The Rayo Brothers will be releasing their third long player, Victim & Villain, March 29 on Louis Michot's Nouveau Electric Records imprint. The new album was recorded at Maurice, Louisiana's renowned Dockside Studio by Grammy-winning engineer Tony Daigle who also mixed the set.
