Directed by Jonathan Moscone in his final production as Cal Shakes Artistic Director, and featuring Danny Scheie and Liam Vincent, The Mystery of Irma Vep plays at the Bruns Amphitheater from tonight, August 12 through September 6.

Theatre district hotspot Cafe Edison, which is a part of the Edison Hotel, might soon be no more. According to Vanishing New York, the hotel will not renew the restaurant's lease and the cafe is looking to change locations. Manager Conrad Strohl told VNY:

The Hatmaker's Wife marks the first Playwrights Realm production at the Peter Jay Sharp Theater (416 West 42nd Street) in midtown Manhattan, following previous engagements in several downtown Off-Broadway venues. The 2010 Tribeca Film Festival (TFF), presented by American Express, the Founding Sponsor of the Festival, today announced its remaining out-of-competition feature film selections in the Encounters, Discovery, Cinemania and Spotlight sections. The Festival will take place from April 21 to May 2, 2010 in lower Manhattan, offering audiences film screenings, conversations and an array of free community events. As previously announced, the 2010 film selection encompasses feature films from 38 different countries, including 45 World Premieres, 7 International Premieres, 14 North American Premieres, 6 U.S. Premieres and 12 New York Premieres.
